That and Russia is in China's hip pocket right now....and is cozying up to Iran and North Korea for support....
Wouldn't take much for a new coalition to form.

China and Russia are neighbors but all I see China do is stay neutral and push for a cease fire. They are critical of U.S. support in the matter as it fuels continued battle, but the consensual knowledge that Russia initiated the conflict will be the elephant in the room so to speak.
From a really quick research it seems although China and Russia don't have a formal alliance, they have an informal agreement to coordinate diplomatic and economical ties to build up an alliance against the US which makes sense to me...
I guess China isn't providing arms to Russia, but it's providing materials and equipment to aid them....

It’s not going to be over anytime soon. Look how long Russia was in Afghanistan or Chechnya. Five to ten years from now there will still be conflict there. Are we ready to support another endless war? Sure seems like sleepy wants to.

Where did I say any of what you imply? But it is strange to me how you feel it’s ours to give away. Let Ukraine defend itself….or not. It’s not our business imo. We are so depleted we are now buying (with your money and mine) Patriot missile systems from Japan to give to ukraine. How TF does that make sense? You and I are also paying the salaries of politicians and other vital services as well. Financially the USA is the only thing keeping ukraine running.
Polite honest question to you, how long are you willing to proxy fight Russia uhhhhhhgain in a land far away?
This country is so far in debt it’s ridiculous and yet we continue to give away billions. It’s like a 16yr old kid with a credit card giving money to her friends without care. Enough already.

In one hand do nothing and eventually Ukraine will become a Russian state, continue with the path we are on and face WW3.....
In my opinion, the west is committed to supporting Ukraine and will continue to do so regardless of cost......so far the majority of citizens agree with supporting Ukraine.
On the other hand, Ukraine's military are like drunken sailors with a free credit card, they are quick to commit equipment and arms in fights that are extremely risky to win because they know there are boatloads of equipment and arms arriving each and every day to replace what they squandered.
The thing to remember is Russia won't back down so the west is in it for the long run.
Canada is buying weapon systems for Ukraine that we don't even have in our military (and should). Troops have been screaming for these systems for years only to see them go to Ukraine.

Yep. The irony of war. Putin can keep pounding Ukraine into dust. Until Ukraine runs dry. Meanwhile the U.S. is running short of ammo. And Canada gets bypassed.
We should have NEVER abandoned Ukraine. We cut a deal to de nuke them. And then as usual......walked away.
Proxy wars are better than real ones. If we hadn't put so many restrictions on the way Ukraine used our stuff, and had given them what they really need, aircraft, this would be over. Yes, I blame Biden.
I say we should continue to support them, all the way in, until it's over.
