In most pre-conflicts the people lived in harmony until they didn't...
Russia had no business invading like they did and if the world sat back and watch NATO would lose all it's credibility and teeth...once that happens the bad actor states will prevail and rule.
As we have learned from all the wars ever fought previously, just making a new border and moving on is never an option....blood has to be shed.....

The world was fine when Putin owned Ukraine. It’ll be no different next time around. We aren’t going to win. Ukraine will never get Crimea or the Donbass back. Their country is literally in rubble that will never be rebuilt. Let somebody else fund this futile effort. I’m done with it.

There's lots of real time combat data being logged on all the equipment that was sent there and I can guarantee the battles are studied to see what works and where.....NATO is gaining valuable information by having someone else fight...

I personally was invited to Houston Tx to meet with Summit Partners to discuss movement of their indigent care population (indigent means no pay). First we review the problem. Each bed at their facility generates 4K a day for the space it occupies. Not including Dr generated rounds imaging, transfer etc. Their IC load was between 30-35%. All facilities were 4000 beds. So 1200ish beds.
They have adopted 24/7 surgical suites. So they can generate more revenue. They are still facing the realistic possibility of bankruptcy. They can't operate if they don't have beds to put them in.
90% of the IC were migrants. It seems the govt decided it's inhumane to hold them in processing facilities for more than 60 days. So they put ankle bracelets on them, provide them a phone, so the attorneys can stay in contact as they proceed they the immigration legal system. Which takes something like 2 years now. Within a week or so they learn if they dial 911, they get an ambulance ride to the hospital.
And they all have similar maladies. One example. Abdominal pains from unknown cause. Which takes about 4 or 5 days to check off all the legal boxes that fulfils their medical obligation to test, image, exam and clear. Everyone in the provider ladder knows, any hint of negligence or lack of procedural protocol will result in same said attorneys engaging them in a malpractice suit.
It's a never ending flow of hamster wheel traffic. They sometimes get the same patient multiple times.
So they want to transport them away outside of their service area, so it becomes some other hospital chains problem.
If any of you that live in a city start losing your hospitals, you are in 3rd world pretty quickly.
