The sad part is I even Googled it and noted it wasn't "W" Bush but typed it anyway.....

Well, I remember things in sequence but not necessarily dates. So when I read that it seemed out of sequence. But full disclosure I had to look it up too! In a few years, we are going to be so old we won't make sense anyway, haha!

interesting to note that in 2012 there was a decree telling all Russian speaker in Crimea and Donbass regions that Cinemas had to now only show Ukrainian language films. Prior to 2014 over 30% of Ukraine spoke Russian
that is like Canada issuing a decree to French speaking Quebec only allowing English language to be spoken
watch from 36:00 minutes on 55 minutes - it shows a real perspective - its worth a watch

It seems that some NATO countries grow weary of the war in Ukraine and are re-thinking their aid packages.....the US included....
I can see Ukraine turning and biting the hands that feed them in the future....
There is quite bit of saber rattling coming out of North Korea of late...
I hate to say it but it is almost time to wipe out that regime.....

I personally don't think Russia could take on another large adversary right now...they'd get their arses handed to them on a platter if they tried and they know it....
Hell, they are turning the heat off in prisons trying to force the convicts into going to Ukraine to fight...if that isn't desperation, nothing is.....
They've already used their special forces in a conventional role and got most of them wiped out......

The fear is continuing as last week UK agreed to give another £2.5 billion of our taxes straight to Ukraine without recourse to approving by all of UK parliament
I think every country who is supporting Ukraine is in the same boat....money and equipment is pouring into Ukraine like Niagara Falls most times without citizens having any clue....
That being said, Russia can't be allowed to succeed in taking over Ukraine.

Money is pouring into Russia too. So this will turn into a huge cash dump until somebody runs out of it.
The money we are putting into Ukraine is an investment. It's the cheapest way possible to get rid of Putin. If Ukraine falls, it will snowball into decades of instability, war, and death. I don't get what people don't get about that. We have seen the results of autocratic governments, and it's never been good.

Yes, @Bumblebee you hit it on the head. We can spend a fortune in Ukraine or we will be sending our boys and girls to Europe to die stopping Russia. Can't we just offer Putin Florida instead?
