Russia and Ukraine

I've been reading more and more that western countries are letting Ukraine use their equipment inside of Russia....

I see this in two ways......in one hand, Russia brought the fight, going into Russia and bringing the fight to them makes sense......

In the other hand, once this begins, the chance of peacefully de-escalating this war will fizzle.....the Russian people have proven time and time again that once the enemy is on their soil, somehow they change and become ferocious....

I said months ago, if you bring the war to the Russians, then Putin will have to deal with Russians.

Ukraine has taken about the identical amount of land that Russia has. Know they can negotiate giving it back to each other as part of a peace settlement.

Everyday I see Russian troop and equipment losses but nothing with regards to Ukraine losses....this is a real indication that western governments are covering up these facts in order to maintain support amongst their citizens.....I think if western citizens actually know how many losses Ukraine was suffering, they'd be appalled.....

I’ll bet the Russian people are kept in the dark about things regarding Ukraine as well.

People think Ukraine attacking targets within Russia will somehow deter Russia from further escalation......if history tells us anything, this targeting by Ukraine will increase Russia's resolve and will make them ramp up their efforts...if their conventional might doesn't do the job, we all know they will step up to non-conventional means....sadly.....

I'm going to respectfully disagree. The playing of constant defense by Ukraine was getting them nowhere. Russia could play that game forever. We'd have another Afghanistan we'd be paying for. The Ukrainian morale diminishes. The grind of going nowhere takes its toll and troops and weapons.

Bring the war to Russia. Let the Russians feel the uncertainty of what target is next. Let Putin deal with his people tasting the reality of a war.

Sadly this is not a contest either of us want to win........

Russia WILL amp up their assault either by conventional or non-conventional means.....they will not cease their assault unless very powerful forces come into play negotiating a cease fire or at lease cessation of aggression.....Ukraine attacking targets within Russian borders will not get the response they want.

Russia has quickly formed an alliance with China, North Korea and Iran which could be a very dangerous alliance.

They did this long before Ukraine started hitting targets in Russia. There are a LOT of miles that separate these Russian allies. Ukraine is in the middle of Europe surrounded by friendly countries. They can get behind Ukraine in a day or so if needed.

Putin would be still be largely on their own for boots on the ground efforts.

Russia won't give up their efforts without some sort of peace talk intervention, Ukraine striking targets within Russia will only serve to strengthen the Russian reserve as their media will roust this up as a counter invasion......history has shown us Russian citizens rise to such an occasion....

Sadly the UN was born for such an occasion but has lost so much of their abilities that is is virtually ineffective.

I find it interesting that on my home page feed I often see an article on "Russian Losses" (as of a certain date) but never Ukrainian losses for any day...

I think if they showed Ukrainian losses the general public would be appalled and would be placing huge pressure on governments to get to making peace right away......

Totally agree on the need to make peace. By the sequence of events, it has to be Putin to make that move. Ukraine is defending themselves, even as the war gets more complicated.

NATO led by the US has to step in to generate a peace accord...

NATO has enabled Ukraine the ability to defend and now project force so whether anyone agrees or not, NATO has took a hand in the game and actually has for some time.....NATO was training and equipping Ukrainian troops since at least 2012 however on a lesser scale.

There has been extreme tension between Ukraine and Russia ever since the Cold War ended and I wager for some time before it ended.....probably back to WW2.

Do you feel that Ukraine exacerbated that tension enough to provoke an invasion?

Now, I've never been there but have had troops go there to train Ukrainian special forces and from their reports, Ukraine was antagonizing Russia along their eastern borders......the provinces there speak mostly Russian and from all accounts were ready to separate from Ukraine.

My guys were saying that the Wagner group were along the Ukrainian border and there were many times when Ukraine troops opened fire on them for no openly apparent reason that my guys could see....

I really don't think Russia would invade without some sort of provocation.....but not really certain of that either.....

I certainly didn't take NATO long to bolster Ukraine.....that seemed like the first step instead of trying to set up some sort of peace deal....

Kind of reminded me of how the US bolstered the Mujahedeen during the Russian/Afghanistan war in the '80s....

Regardless, it's a real mess....

This is not conspiracy theories I found somewhere, neither ones I am trying to make up.

But use your common sense:

1.) Look at the link below, and identify the top 8 weapons suppliers to Ukraine all US organizations, some in the Fortune 500 list.

2.) Go to your stock, or equity analysis software. If you are not active in the markets, you can access some of that information via Microsoft or Yahoo Finance. Analyze the top companies for who owns the largest portfolio in these companies, and you will see they start with institutional investors, the big guys.

3.) This is where it gets a bit grey, but now look if you can drill down to who has big portfolios managed by these institutions. This is harder to find, but if you use a trading platform such as Sink or Swim, you can get limited access.

4.) Finally ask yourself how politicians, a Senator, member of the House of Representatives on a salary of $174,000 a year becomes a wealthy millionaire. Most company VP’s today make $250k plus a year. Very few of them are wealthy millionaires.

5.) Trump is not part of this game. He has enough financial wealth. All his shortcomings may not be the reason the Democrats hate him and will try every trick in the book to keep him out of office. Use your common sense and ask yourself if perhaps there is a different reason.

6.) Trump is screwing up his chances of winning the election. He is becoming more unpresidential with every rally, the things he says and it is very possible that Kamala will be our next president.

7.) Again, using common sense, do you think considering the above an administration under Kamala would want this war to stop? My guess is that if Kamala gets the White House, the war over the next four years is imminent, it will only get worse. The real Democrats, who are in power and who will use Kamala as a puppet, do not want this war to stop.

The US has had it's nose stuck into so many conflicts over the decades, what you are saying is their SOP these days...

Global arms sales have been and will always be through the roof....that is common knowledge.

However, if we look at not just arms sales, we look at the reconstruction companies who will be going in to rebuild these countries when the conflict is over, that will generate huge revenues on it's own.

What the big issue here is the division that has been forming between west and east....Russia is aligning with other bad actor states to form an alliance which could be powerful enough to shift global economic and military balances.

.....and if Russia is backed into a corner, how good are the chances they revert to non-conventional warfare? Nobody wins in that.

David Muir, during the ABC debate between Trump and Kamala asked the question:

“Do you want Ukraine to win the war against Russia? “

Trump’s reply:

“The war must stop!!.”

Personally I believe Trump lost a major opportunity in terms of answering that question.

First, it was an incredibly stupid question as a little country like Ukraine has no chance of winning a war against a nuclear super power.

Second, Trump had the opportunity to voice the fact that the Military Industrial Complex has no intention of stopping this war, as it would cripple their new revenue stream and support to the Democratic Party.

NATO is bolstering Ukraine's capability to the point where they are reaching into Russia and destroying specific targets.....and actually making Russia rethink strategies they are using....

Without NATO involvement, Russia probably would have occupied the Donbas and Luhansk regions and left it at that...they are both Russian speaking and have never really wanted to be part of Ukraine....there has been guerrilla warfare in these area pretty much ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union...

NATO is being ham fisted and Russia has never responded well to that tactic.
