Equally so, Russia has weapons and missiles they've not used. This will give them reason to.
And as far as your comment regarding the source goes Daily Mail is kinda tabloid yes but you will see articles there nobody else will print. And it's certainly not right leaning.

When a nuclear power is backed into a corner, it will all depend on who the leader is as to what will happen......in my opinion it's not a good thing to test Putin's meddle...

However, I believe you are correct in waiting until Trump's inauguration......he and Putin have a good rapport.

Russia through proxies has been fighting Ukraine for years in the disputed provinces and took Crimea already...it's hard to say if the actual invasion could have been avoided.....this is a "could a, would a, should a" situation......

Yep. As I said at the start. Russia knew we were weak when Biden got elected. They took Crimea without firing a shot during Obama.

Biden put ineffective slap on the wrist sanctions. Russias economy has grown in this war. Not shrunk.

Ours sure hasn't grown.

What is even more scary, is if you look at the MIC financial contributions, to both the Republican and Democratic parties, in order to gain influence. All $ contributions available online if you research. If Trump meets his promises and stop both wars, the MIC will have massively reduced revenue. Some just might not like that.

If the wars can be stopped, I don't think he has to do anything else, other than give them incentives to innovate and develop new defence technology as an alternative source of revenue. It means the money spent on helping Ukraine and Israel, can be used to strengthen our military instead.

I think that will be a component. He can also slap actual serious sanctions on Russia. Also give back lands taken by both sides and let the people vote their independence to choose Russia or Ukraine in the historically disputed areas.

With any technology, there are or will be countermeasures which eventually will render them useless...

The US (and certain other western nations) have this technology but it is finite and all encompassing and not enemy specific.....so it's the sort of technology that isn't mainstream.

Drones get it done though.....
