Russia claims US is harbouring 'components of biological weapons' in Ukraine​

Maria Zakhorava, the Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman, is delivering a news conference this morning from Moscow, where she claims that the US has been carrying out biological programmes in Ukraine.
Ms Zakhorava demanded that the US reveals the details about what it has been doing, adding she has seen documents that backs up their claims that Americans are harbouring components of biological weapons close to the Ukraine-Russia border.
She goes on to claim that the US Ministry of Defence is running the programme directly.
A few days ago a Russian major general, Igor Konashenkov, made the claim in the Russian media that the plague, anthrax and cholera were being developed by the US for use in biological warfare.
On negotiations with Ukraine, Ms Zakhorava said that "it will be better if we achieve results through peaceful negotiations," adding the Kremlin is "hoping for more significant steps forward at the next round of talks".

I guess they have to come up with something/anything to try and justify this very unpopular invasion....

Note the last sentence-I that sums up how it is going for Russia...if it was going well, they could care less about a peaceful solution.

I am so thankful we have a liberal media! They have been bombing the news cycle for weeks saying the US is financing the war by importing Russian oil. Yesterday, the day the US decides they will no longer import oil from Russia, they switch to full-cycle stories on the price of gas. Putin's secret weapon...

Sadly, like all things media driven, people will buy into whatever media says.... it's the propaganda machine of all countries.

Look at what it did during the US election.....a very effective tool to divide people and cause dissention.

Fuel prices hit yet another record high​

The average cost of a litre of fuel has risen to 158.2p today - another record high, according to the RAC.
That is up from yesterday's level of 156.37p.
Diesel comes in at an average of 165.24p per litre - up on 162.28p on Tuesday.

it's gonna keep on going - oil price at $125/barrel

it will probably not go over $200 / barrel - we have not hit the highs yet, we are only 12 days in.

Sadly the more Ukraine mounts a strong defense, the more their country will be destroyed as the offensive will just turn cities into rubble and destroy infrastructure....

We've seen this time and time again....there will be no real winners in this conflict...

Russia will take Ukraine but will have a broken shell which will need to be rebuilt at crazy costs...

Not to mention a captive population which will only think of them as occupiers and never as fellow countrymen....

The world could be the winner if Putin falls victim to his own offensive (politically) There is no telling who would move in with Putin gone, but Putin is proving to be a pretty negative force.

I’ve been hearing interesting theories that Putin may have cancer. Due to his face being puffy and swollen looking (steroids do it during cancer treatment my sister looked like a bobble head during her treatments) this would explain a lot actually. But even if he did we would never know even if he died from cancer , they would keep it a secret for 50-60 years.

I did say it was a theory, but could be possible. Stamping his glory before he dies, high steroid use can cause a lot of mental and emotional issues and even memory loss.

Maybe but that's a quite a theory....what was behind his annexing of Crimea or the two eastern separatist regions? He has had his eye on Ukraine for quite some time...why he picked this exact time to invade is anyone's guess...I'd wager an idea of steroids and cancer is pretty far fetched.

A referendum for a world war? What an interesting concept.....

Who'd sign off on that-an event which would kill possibly millions and more likely than not end up in a nuclear solution....

A quick google search will bring up hundreds of articles. The only theory that doesn’t fit is the table, since the table was made in 1995 and has been used before. Like I said it’s a theory and he is getting up there in age so it isn’t impossible.
