The Russians fired their hypersonic missile and played their card...now the US is able to track it and if you can track it, you can intercept it....
I just watched a news cast regarding the volunteers who have arrived and are arriving in Ukraine....some of them are really seeking the spot light and perhaps a bit of glory...these people who get on the news and say "look at me, see what I'm doing" lose a lot of credibility in my eyes. If you're going to go there, go there and get it done without the spectacle. My wife said maybe they are trying to inspire others but I said not once did any of them say anything inspiring.

I just saw a piece where one of the worlds best snipers, from Canada,. has gone to Ukraine to assist.

I saw that too..left a little child and wife behind to do it as well....made no sense to me....
It's one thing to deploy for your country because it's your duty, it's quite another to deploy on your own accord as a mercenary....it appears he's done this before so good on him.

I've met and worked with many mercenary's over the years and not one of them have a happy personal life, most have been divorced and live day to day...even with all the money they make off governments.
More than a few of them have prices on their heads.
I have a friend who operates a business hiring "soldiers of fortune" and deploying them...he has offered me a job several times....I can guarantee he has teams in the Ukraine and they get well paid.
I find it odd this individual from Canada would be so flippant as to identify anything about himself....a price will be placed on his head.....and that of his family if he crosses paths with the wrong bad actors...
This guy served under the same command as I did but was in another unit.

I don't know how much of his "publicity" was his doing.
But when you specializing in being a sniper as your specialty code, you don't have much in the way of jobs you can rely on when you get out.
He will get paid a LOT more than anything he was likely getting paid as what amounts to an unskilled civilian.

That's not my personal experience first hand. Granted it's a tiny sample size but as they say in Missouri, "show me", and the vaccine did. I'm in my 60's and survived several spikes at work and locally, including people that I was in the office with for hours a day. The percentages of vaccinated and non vaccinated people around me that got sick as well as the severity of symptoms is astounding and way beyond questioning the effectiveness of the vaccines.

It's a weird time for heroes indeed. I remember when it was impossible to know who was a Seal around here. I worked on a project for 2 years before I even realized the guy I was shooting the chit with all that time was the commander! He was probably the closest thing to an actual superman I ever met, yet he was a cool normal dude. I sort of really respected that.
Now walk into a bar and it's like people have a sign that says I'm a SEAL. There is a lot of resentment in the services too because they are doing the same things as the mercenaries but making a fraction of what they are getting paid. Just seems like a bad evolution to make killing like this for profit.

I'd say he was crowing to the masses about joining the international brigade...there are thousands more involved with them right now and we hear nothing about those people...someone had to tell the press he was leaving his wife and tiny child behind and that he did this before in Iraq as a mercenary fighting ISIS-that stuff isn't public knowledge and most of his records would be sealed due to his former unit.
There are many jobs he could have pursued...ex military members are sought out in many fields for their leadership, not their former occupation...he was an infantryman (assaulter) who's secondary task was sniper, we have many such members...my former team was made up of guys like this.

I read it on a blurb on the bottom of the screen during a news cast...
I only found something on line from CNN which has a US official stating they can track them during launch....maybe that's what they meant by they could track them?

Well... that is good news. On the other hand the experimental vaccines are just that, experimental.
Without becoming a skilled bio research expert or whatever the subject at hand requires to gain a full understanding of what covid and all the drug therapies that are surrounding it how do you know anything for sure? One of the major obstacles in all of this is we know governments have agendas and they are willing to lie to people en mass to pass off certain aspects of whatever their mission is that they want to accomplish. The media can no longer be counted to tell the truth.... and that use to be their main mission for existing in the first place. Where the truth is these days is anybodies guess because we no longer have confidence that the sources for those news items can no longer be trusted for public consumption.
Your experience is anecdotal... and I am glad to hear it worked out for you as it is with any individual dealing with a infection labeled covid. Tell me, how many cases of the flu have you heard about in the last 2 years? Hmmm... I guess the flu that is thought of as seasonal just kinda disappeared somehow.

Tracking isn't the problem. They aren't stealth. They just fly low and fast. Intercepting was the challenge at the time I was in that wheelhouse. We could intercept anything we were faster than. It's hard to hit a target that can evade a pursuing bogey. I think we had a good start on laser beam tech that once locked on it just burned through it. But again that was going on 20 years ago now. Tech development moves pretty fast....it wouldn't surprise me if the US didn't have some sort of tech to take them out.
If you are really interested in the Ukraine situation, this is a bit long, but this guy predicted in 2015 with extreme accuracy what is happening today. And he says it is our fault. And unless you don’t believe his accurate predictions, you have to admit that Trump’s efforts to forge a relationship with Putin and downplay NATO was the right thing to do.
