Sometimes it helps to use more current examples.

I admit I don't much know about who's statutes are coming down there. Is it around Native Americans? Honestly I didn't even know of most of the ones that came down here. If the woke would have never expressed their offense over a statue I would have never known there was even a statue of whomever it was.

I don't think the entire story has been promoted like the version the media and their controllers of content put out there. Approximately 14,000 hours of video are being reviewed right that has never been released. When the FBI director and others can't answer questions when it matters then their has to be a reason for it.
It seems few people have a good idea of just what a powerful cartel of propagandist we have pushing out the narrative everyday for decades... it is a machine... it has no contraints... if someone jeopardizes it... sometimes those people die and nobody is charged. How many journalist are gone? A lot of good people exist... and so do a lot evil folks. JFK even mentioned them 60 years ago.

We have several statues of our founding fathers including our first prime minister being removed, destroyed or vandalized, several name changes on buildings and streets being changed from our founding fathers to indigenous names that most people can't pronounce.

The pendulum has swung all the way...

Bill Cosby although he was in our living rooms as the TV dad, seems to have lived a double live......

If we look at Hollywood and recent actors who have quit their profession over the wave of "wokism" there are many....Jim Carrey comes to mind right off my head but I know there are many, many more that just can't stand the narrative of the woke and the direction they are told to take.

I recently saw a list of movies that wouldn't be permitted to be made today and there were many classic Disney movies on the list including Bambi and many others...the reasoning behind their cancellation was eye-opening but not in a good way....lots of Jim Carrey movies wouldn't be able to be made today in Hollywood...

I wouldn't want to be an actor today with all the guidelines and narratives they have to follow.

While I agree we are seeing only what the left wants us to see, Trump knew how to use the media. Maybe better than any recent president. He knew how to send a message using the media.

Regardless of what evidence we may or may not see in the hearings, Trump handled the rioters the same way Obama did when they repeatedly burned down cities. Neither took a strong stance to denounce them. They'd make a neutered statement like "We should not use violence". Instead they should stand up and denounce them in strong fiery statements, and make sure it's pumped loudly in all the media they had access to. Instead they both came off as endorsing it by not speaking out against it.

Trump became very Obamaish as America watched people, people that vote, destroy their country.

I have a long list of anti Trump sentiments. But as it applies to Jan 6 he was a phussy. Just like Obama was as our cities burned.

I'm sure there is plenty of evidence that would enlighten us. But this is politics. The left have to make sure Trump can never look like America was getting great again.

The politics of this nation are at an all time fubar.

No doubt Trump said or tweeted some mean or stupid stuff and ruffled the feathers of the leftist and helped create a new class of victim identified as "Woke" subscribers.

You have to give the CNN staff credit for being really good at promoting Trump because they provided millions of dollars worth of free airtime and always put him front and center when multiple candidates were on stage. Of course, they made a few bucks off the staging priority given to him.

No matter how you characterize Trump's words the responsibility for personal behavior still lies with the individual. "Vicarious liability" becomes real when somebody is taking orders from somebody that has authority over them. Plenty of people that went to the speech also went to the Capitol, however, many stood back as they felt the energy of the crowd and or for some reason did not attempt to join in the protest up close.

What was different about Trump for me was his policy decisions and his diplomacy. Trumps sees other nations as competitors. He believes ever nations leaders should attempt to get what is best for their countrymen and women. Beyond that he is much more aligned with the words written in the US Constitution than Obama or Biden. It is my contention that Biden should be tried for all the crimes he committed and keeps doing.

Obama said "Change" was coming to America... and some of this is a product of what he has been thinking about years in advance of becoming president. We can't see his college transcripts and nobody at Columbia remembers his attending class there... as far as I am concerned he is a Manchurian candidate that scored. Obama actually despises America... he had to go around the world and apolijize for American exceptionalism. Typical behavior based on his influential up bringing. When Dinesh crafted a documentary on Obama he hit a nerve! lol !

The ongoing victim class is all those people that forgot the deceptive practices of the past that are still in effect. It is not limited to a political party affiliation. As far as identifying with either party it is pretty obvious what the expectations are for Constitutional alignment to be a reality these days.

Regardless of that happens in Ukraine, if we avoid nuclear destruction, the cold war will be back in full swing and instead of the Soviet Union, the new union will most likely include Russia, China, North Korea and Iran.....

Regardless of what your opinion is... we need a real leader... somebody that can implement the changes to get this country back on course.

As far as Trump being the past... everybody you know is getting older and eventually the new generation is going to veer off course if not taught the values, reasons, and justifications for having a Constitution and Bill of Rights. I know your country is similar to ours in many ways, however, we didn't rise to the level of a super power by following the wishes of the woke, leftist and the ideologues that embrace socialism and other failure based systems of government. The only real reason this country is in decline is the leadership sucks with some exceptions and it been that way for a while.

Plenty of people thought Obama was a narcissist which was based on his behavior and personality.

Ukraine? Looks like a real disrupter for our world. First the Covid scamdemic / attack on the world by China that has its hands in everything from fentanyl production to blackmail to Tic Tock and all the goods they make that we buy. If China supports Russia with the weapons of war then that must mean they don't need us to buy as much stuff from them as we are right now. Then, what will become of the of the US debt they are holding? hmmm... meanwhile the atrocities of war continue and so does the needless suffering. Rumors say Putin is having health issues...

Trump is running again as a candidate. If you and your buddies vote him in as the winning Republican, I can guarantee you, the next president will be a Democrat.

I think the republicans need to bet on a new leader or just like @jellyrug says, a democrat will be in there again....

If you talk about Covid escaping from a Wuhan lab, you just don't know how close to home some of these lab breaches have been in US and Canada.....there have been many close calls over the years-we've just got lucky....Wuhan didn't...

You call it a "scamdemic" but in reality, governments had no choice but to react...if they did nothing and millions upon millions died what would be said then I ask?

You also might note there are many companies abandoning China as their base of operations...China's economy is in trouble, there is little wonder they are trying to cash in on the war in Ukraine...

Trump is personally gonna hand the Dems another win in 24 with his ego and insults. He’s trying to insult and bring down one of the most popular governors in the country in DeSantis. I live here. People love him. Even my liberal mom finds difficulty criticizing him. People fleeing liberal states have moved here in droves in the last few years and boosted Republican numbers. Hell miami Dade county, one that has been blue for as long as I can remember flipped red this last go round. DeSantis’ popularity is driving Trump crazy, especially since he’s from Florida. Trump cannot walk away and stop himself. He will bicker and insult and bring us all down making the silent smiling left very happy.

Not in my opinion... the shelter in place made it worse by forcing people into close proximity to each other and therefore concentrating the virus to specific high traffic areas. New York senior living centers? What happened there? It have already become a fact that mask don't work with the exception perhaps of coughing or sneezing. The vaccines are not doing real well while other treatments are working quite well but are suppressed of the feds. Go figure on that one. Covid was re engineered into a control exercise because these knuckleheads will never let a crisis go to waste by imposing draconian rules for the masses.

I don't believe for a minute the virus was going to kill millions... only people with weak immune systems. That reminds me... the feds didn't want you working out at the gym or going outside to exercise... to total sham... healthier bodies have stronger immune systems.

It was and still is a scam demic.... and we still have people driving around and their cars and out for walks and still wearing those stupid mask.
The conditioning process has been very effective with this one.... and now we are hearing another one is scheduled.
