Spring Bash ~ April 28-30

You guys are starting to sound a wee bit twisted.

Twisted? Us? No way......

I'm actually getting quite skeered...not of the ride, but of the bonfire and maybe a full moon!

10 cases of brats 10 cases Bud. That might get ya by for a day or two. I thought I had some bikes to haul in my trailer but maybe not now. OK I will haul the beer.

heh, fill the trailer with bikes and the truck with bodies... however if that means the brats won't fit someone has to ride on the roof

A little late but I am in for the group picture on Sat. Have we came up with a meeting point and time yet to start this Friday or did I just miss it in the thread.

and generally speaking the meeting places are the Phillips Hotel 8-9am and after that it turns in to every man/woman for themselves unless there is a scheduled event.... at one of the last bashes the scheduled rides didnt work so good so this time there will just be routes/maps available and I'll just put some times around when I will be riding those roads in case someone wants to tag along.

As a general rule, if you are looking for members of our group, you will find a few of us parked at the CROT from 830-930ish eating pancakes and sausages
cool.gif
The other side of that is that the CROT seems to be the jump off point for everyone up there, so when in doubt, go there and you are bound to find someone from the group at some point. Plus its just a dang cool place to chill out at

I meant a little late on posting about the picture (I should not be allowed to post after drinking). I will be there from the 27th until late Sat and maybe until Sunday the wife is really starting to com around the more she learns about it. Thanks for the info Zuk

I realy want to go to the bash, never been to it before, count me in and send some info if you could, that is if there is any info not already mentioned on the thread

OK, I'm getting married on April 22 in Tampa so I think I can make it back up by then and not end up in the dog house. Already riding with my best man and the rest of the guy's from Atlanta Ga to Tampa so I may not want to push it!!!!

Speedadict, if you don't find a room, hit me up and you can crash in my room. It'll be floorspace, but it's better than nothing.

If anyone needs to get ahold of me here's my cell.

OK... you can add myself and the Mrs (TheKatsMeow) as probable~
We'll see if there's any room left at Philips and let you know where we'll be sleeping~
We'll most likely trailer up the Busa and TKM's Katana.. although the ride up would look good on the Milage Challenge report..
rock.gif
.. ehh prolly trailer~
We've gotta see if we can both pull the time off our jobs and lock a place to stay before we can commit fully~

Great Greg!

Gotcha you on the list. Just say the word and it will be updated.
OK.. we're locked in now!
Big props, and major Thanks, to PDbusa and JohnStein for offering up the spare room in their cabin!! You guys rock!

So, we'll most likely head outta here on the 27th and get up there that same evening~ We plan to stay until Sunday evening or early Monday morning~ We don't have to be back to work until that Wednesday, so it's no real rush to get back home~ Looking forward to a great time and meeting you all without a computer screen between us!

Now... to find a trailer.....

Oh yeah....

GJoker... '04 Slvr/Blu Busa
TheKatsMeow.. '01 Pewter Katana
(Suzuki calls it silver, but it looks more gold so we call it Pewter in honor of our beloved Bucs)

I just looked up where Waterloo was... that means you will probably be going through Bloomington, IL... I live 1h north... basically hwy 39 & 80 in IL.  I was going to bring my own trailer, but maybe we could hook up instead?  This way I could pitch in for gas and stuff... it would work out much cheaper...

Leo your right that is the way I go down there. We could hook up like you said. Right now there is only one other bike in my trailer for sure there are two maybes but that depends on the weather. The other thing is I plan to leave Tuesday morning and drive down there some place close then drive the rest of the way Wednesday. No mater which way you go that last part takes for ever. Last year I got off of I40 onto I75 then got off on Hwy 68 to the Skyway. From I75 to Robbinsville is 103 miles and it took about 3hrs. Not an easy drive in the truck pulling a trailer. Long drive and darkness dont help so I would rather do the last part during daylight. The Cherohala Skyway is a blast on the bike as are most of the roads around there. I tow with a Yukon XL so there is room for you. I dont know what the other guys that have ask for a ride are going to do. In the past I have went for a short ride on Sunday and then headed for home in the afternoon. If you need more info let me know.
