By the look of that pick... I looks like he over shot the corner and hit that boulder in that wash gully and did an end over...

i recall that wreck.. the guy made it out ok, but it was a mix of things that caused the wreck as I recall... dont think he hit the wall, think he low sided and it burst into flames

I will believe it when i see it. Ive reached one of those places where I cant let it go anymore about this ride. So here goes. I wanna be there too! I used to ride all over those mountains and roads as a kid and the nice thing is that the Dragon is only about an hour or so from where I live now. Obviously didn't have a Busa back then... but I have one now!

well if you are local, I guess just plan to be over at the CROT friday/sat mornings by 830-9am... I'm 99% sure we'll have some sort of contact list put out as well so you can call someone to hook up with a group....though cell service up there nubs the wang so CROT is a good spot to plan on catching up with the folks from the group.

Just let Warbaby know what your plans are and he'll get you on the list. That will be the place we reference to make sure everyone is updated with whatever

It seems that the consensus leads toward hiring Darryl so to speak. Now the big question is for how long?

1 hour will not be enuff time IMO for every one to get 2+ shots on 28 plus the group one.

2 hours should be pleanty of time for them.

Instead of making the whole loop, CROT down 28 to the dam, then over to Robbinsville, we can make a CROT to the dam and back to the CROT. That way we can get one coming and one going. If people want more that 2 shots, have them head out early.

Now comes the big question. What time to we want to do this. Darryl has to be back on the Gap by 12 Noon.

9 to 11 group shot at 10:30

9:30 to 11:30 group shot at 11

These are just ideas we can kick around.

doesnt matter to me the route for the group ride, I was just thinking it would be nice to do the big loop but reversing course and heading back down 28 could be good too... certainly allows for more pictures. I guess it will all depend on how many folks actually show up. We could probably figure out a way to get Darryl and another one of his crew out there for 2hrs if we all chipped in $5-10. Just really boils down to how many folks, how many pics, etc.
