Spring Bash ~ April 28-30

Working on it. Just not sure of the 800+ miles to get there. They will need to be done in one day. I have driven it no problem, but dunno if I can do it on the Bullet.

Working on alternatives.

Uhaul has a trailer that they rent out for like 20 or 30 bucks a day. Has railings all the way around and provisions for tie-downs in all corners. Also a drop down gate in the rear. My uncle took a bike from here in Florida to Kentucky and had no problems. Just a suggestion.

Any of you that has been to Phillip's before can you tell me the difference in size between the 3 bedroom apartment and cottage? Can you fit a couple more in the cottage on a sofa or something by chance?

Anyone riding down from the PA area? And does anyone need a roommate?

got my room all reserved

I suggest calling and getting your reservations made if you are thinking about going. There's plenty of rooms available now but I suspect they will fill up over the next month or so

I'll probably collect the rooms and contact stuff again as we get closer

Ms. Phillips assured me that we'd have plenty of firewood too

The cottage is a little roomier, and the one I have stayed in does have a sleeper couch. You also have a yard and a nice driveway. We have the same three bedroom reserved that we stayed in last year. It was fine for five people. It has two full bathrooms as well.

yeah, I wish it was april too

Has anyone thought of extending this say to a thurs-sunday event?

I'm thinking that we could do that and have a day dedicated to a blood mountain / n. ga run without compromising the normal skyway/dragon/foothills/28 and other local rides.

I made reservations for wed night through sunday, so pretty sure I'm gonna be there the extra day, maybe ride up to the national park again and see some of the sights

Can you believe it, ONLY 144 days left. Kevin, those are some great pics. Man, I cant stand this cold wet weather. I feel the need for some BUSA time.

Thank you to JohnStein, we have  cottage 205 reserved.

Working out the details on the 800+ mile trek down from NY and still have time. I just know that that much seat time in one day would be a precursor to some serious butt soreness.

If anybody else is interested in a "busa transport" down let me know so I can arrange for the appropriate sized vehicle.

Looking forward to meeting all you folks in person. Suddenly this snow is more tolerable.

Michelle, do we need to bring TP or will you supply???

depending on the date, Dragon and I will try to come out, sounds like a blast. We are going to try and make the Copper Mountain meet as well. How warm is it out there in late April?

Hey Moon, it will be great to see you and Dragon again! It will be plenty warm upper 60s to upper 70s in late april during the day. The weekend is set, basically April 28-30 but some of us will be there the 27th and after the 30th. I promise you will *love* it if you come out
cool.gif
These roads are perfect for the way you guys ride
wink.gif
I'd suggest calling and getting a room/cottage reserved now though. The Phillips will fill up and you can always bail on the reservations if you cant make it.

And I'm planning on the Copper Mnt run again in '06 too! Thats going to be a blast again, guess I better make some reservations sometime for that

I would love to do a Thursday to Sunday event. I would not be able to sneak away from work and miss Thursday and Friday.

I will probally do the same as the last few. Leave midday Friday and stay through Sunday.

See you hooligans soon!
