Spring Bash ~ April 28-30

Three weeks to go!!
So why do we still have 20 peeps on the "Maybe" list?
You all know you wanna be there~ Just man up, pack up, and be there!
It'll be more fun then a disfunctional family reunion!!

If I'm still on the maybe list, take me off, I'll be in Brazil.

Last year when you guys had the bash I was in Chile, this year Brazil. Maybe I'll make it one of these years.

GSXcite have you finalized exactly when you going to be leaving yet or route you taking?

Yort, It looks like I will be leaving Kansas City on Wed. 4/26 around noon. I'm going to trailer up to Moline Ill. to meet up with my son GSXTacy and Pops Roos and anyone else who wants to go with us as a group. The plan right now is to leave Moline Thurs. in the AM. We will be spending the night somewhere in the Nashville or Knoxville area Thurs. night and riding in on Fri. AM. I'm still hoping OMSLAW will go with us but if you would want to go with us I have room in the trailer for your bike too. We will be staying at GSXTacy's house on Wed eve. and I'm sure you would be welcomed to stay also. We are sharing the gas and lodging expense so no one will have a big financial exposure. I'm sure we will have several guys riding their bikes with me following behind in case someone has problems with their bike, or they want to rest and ride in the truck for awhile. If you have not found anyone to ride to the bash with, we would love to have you join us!

I will be leaving Thursday the 27th from Clarksville, TN. Anyone else riding that direction on that day? I would like to ride with others but I do solo. I will be traveling light with just a tank bag and a duffel bag on the back seat so I can not bring anything extra with me but am willing to help out with some funds and/or labor.

Just for curiousity ,, since i see that Problems have arisen and not sure if the Barbacue thing is going to happen was wondering if there are places close ( restraunts ,diners , ) within minutes or far away to eat at night late ....Thanks

Actually there is 4 or 5 of us riding from Wichita, but not leaving til thursday morning. But we also plan on trying to make it to nashville thursday night abnd then riding rest of the way from there friday. Maybe we can meewt up somewhere in Nashville and ride reswt of the way together. Friend of mine has decide to take a trailer so some of will be riding some will be trailering.

We are still planning on having a few grills at the Phillips. There is an Ingles just down the road. I plan on some dead cow both nights. Unless VA is buying me dinner...yuck..yuck....

Well, last week I got some news, and not until late this week, was it confirmed. Anyhow due to a work situation beyond my control, I have to give up my room at the Phillips room - 123

If Im able to make it down, Yort has generously offered me some space to crash for a few days. If anyone needs a room, contact me, and maybe I can transfer the room to you when I cancel my reservation...

Not sure what happened but I will have a grill there and I will still be bringing the brats and all the stuff to go with them. Its a tradition now and I enjoy doing it So you wont go hungry at least not on Friday night.

I too will likely stuff a grill in my trailer...just incase.....not sure which one...but it wont be the 5 burner, that's for sure!

People are asking the "whats up?" question alot.

I was not involved on the actions of last weekend. I was only made aware of what happened from Brian(zukracer). I am not going to get into what happened, nor let it effect our plans for the Bash.

I know Brian was handling the shirts and do not know how that has progressed. I will try to get in touch with him tomorrow.

As for supper both nights, your best bet will be a trip to the store and we will have grills there. If you want to go out to eat there is good food at several locations very near to the Phillips.

Friday nights cook out I got it covered. All you need to bring is your choice of cold drink. I will bring one grill and it sounds like there will be others. Will need more than one to cook for this crew. Did I say its covered. Zuk you still coming?
