The battle is over!!!

congrats man, I was wondering what would happen in the end with that story, so it turned out to be a $630 expense for something you shouldn't have had to deal with in the first place... sigh
 
Glad to hear your happy and things work out for you. But that is TOTAL BS, that you even have to deal with it. Hope Karma pays back that ticket giver very soon.

I am sure you would of rather spent $580 on your bike, or a fun weekend, or give it to a family member in need rather than what you had to do with it.

would have been 630.00 but the judge suspended the 50.00 fine...so i got bit for 500.00 (lawyer) and 80.00 (court cost)...and yes NO points...

You Bet...580.00 buys some nice mods or toys for the Busa...am actually in the process of saving to buy a Brocks Street Smart System (shorty)...that put a dent in that plan...but it's all good...
 
i feel bad that you had to pay so much just to prove that you wernt in the wrong!! thats very unfair but im glad you didnt let them get away with that crap good for you and im glad it worked out for you!!:beerchug:

glad it worked out for bro, with your job requirements (CDL's) i think you did the right thing with the lawyer. does kinda suck that you were innocent to start with, im sure your job is worth a lot more than $580 though. :thumbsup:

Sorry, but I disagreee. The battle is hardly over if you got raped by the system for 700 bucks + your time. You lost coming and going. I'm disappointed that you're happy with the outcome, but at least you have no points on your license. That the judge didn't toss it out for 5mph over is ridiculous.

Question. Do you have a speedohealer? I don't recall if this came up or not.
 
Never stop to get a ticket. Run and run fast! Worst case is you have a little legal trouble, best case, you get off scot free!

State Police have policy that says not to, but county and municipal ares make their own. I have been chased by ISP before so that's not a guarantee either.....

Worst case is you cause a fatal accident.....
Not that I haven't/won't run, but you need to think it through. My rule is if I'm going to jail for what he saw me do (way over the limit, racing, etc) then it's on. If not I will just pull over. Had cops pleasantly surprised that I stopped, and been let off with several warnings by pulling over as soon as I see them.....
Most of them know they can't catch us unless we feel like being caught!
 
all i have to say is....them da@# new hemi charger police cars can really keep up well, but it took them 13 hours to show up at my front door:laugh:
