The only reason I support president Trump is because the other side supports socialist style communism which leads us down an anti patriotic path. I like having my freedoms to say and go where I want... I like the fact that I can own firearms... to lose all of that that means tyranny is on the way... I have no desire to live like the Chinese... and I have met and broke bread with Chinese parents while their kids were here at my house. The kids were young foreign exchange students going to school here. Doesn't mean I know about the CCP from them... I have learned about the CCP from several other sources... people might think Orange Man Bad... well... his ideology doesn't hold one oppressive candle to the red flag of the CCP and what it stands for. Now we have a president elect that thinks the CCP is the best thing since sliced bread was discovered.... China Joe and the Ho are no good for this country... anybody that disputes that doesn't know who they are and how they got to where they are.

Iran, Syria, Iraq, Libya and the list of American enemies goes on and on-Trump certainly didn't shake them up at all nor will any US President. Trump's administration killed off a high ranking Iranian general...they won't forget that..
Production will never come back to North America as it costs too much to produce products and the consumer just won't pay extra for it to be made in the US.
As for minimal wages...when was the last time it was increased in relation to inflation? Been a long time...$15.00/hr is nothing these days, you can't even get a mortgage with that.
The price of gas is going to climb as the world is an unstable environment not only by fighting but by Covid where production has dropped off...prices of many things is on the rise..
I did agree with Trump's idea of bringing production back from off-shore but it would cost trillions to do so....it would be worth it in the end I'm thinking.

Iran was more or less under control until Trump opened that pandora's box again. I know, you right wingers just can't accept that even though the world says it's true and we used to be able to go in and look.
And Kim is just looking for attention, only now he has better weapons to tease us with thanks to Trump elevating his world status and then letting him shoot off whatever he likes.
As for fuel, we traded being nearly energy independent at the end of the Obama administration for artificially cheap Saudi fuel that allows them to pull our chains like when they want to cut up an American reporter they don't like. Personally, I'll pay more for fuel if it puts Americans to work again in the oil fields and we can tell all those children in the middle east to F/off when we want.
I love the debate on how to beat the Chinese. Our economy runs on Americans buying stuff, about 80% of the money comes from that. So imagine if 1.3 billion people are spending? China will be number one simply from its size no matter what we do. And the world will follow the biggest guy. Already while Trump was pissing everyone off some of our best allies were making long-term deals with China. It's so funny when I hear people talking about fighting China when China sees us as a slightly difficult bump in the road that Trump made much easier to get over. Our only way to rival the Chinese economy is to collect ourselves into a group big enough to equal their potential (remember: the United States, Northamerican Free trade, and the EU?). Trump blew all that up too. China thinks that there should be a "union" of Pacific rim economic power. Basically huge populations and super producers. You may remember us walking away from this too (not all righties, big labor was against it too). Now we won't be a part of what is headed to the most powerful trade group on the planet.
Most don't realize that China has been emerging into the modern world for the last 10-15 years and Trump wasted a critical 4 years to try and slow them down. Alliances were our only hope and he basically crushed everyone's faith in the USA. I don't think they can be stopped now frankly.
You guys might have the decency to wait at least until Biden does something wrong as a sitting President before vilifying him. The coward is heading out of town.

Or that i repeated something I've been told in conversation that people that I thought were for Trump explained to me an issue they have with Biden?? This thread started as being about the election the one that YOU were one of the first to come on here and say there was gonna be something happening that was gonna keep your party from winning but once it went your way you completely ignore that and say there is no way enough cheating could have happened to cause it to not be right. I don't agree that I posted that at all. The post Dopey keeps bringing up I said my confidence was shaken. Here is the post:

Jelly I spent 12 years of my life in the far east. That doesn't make me an expert on China but I know a lot about them and the historical origins of how they look at the world. We are looking at them through western eyes and that doesn't accurately reflect their motivations. They have been able to dominate the world at several points in history and never have tried because they think we are barbarians - they don't want us to infect their culture. The Chinese think in thousands of years and we think in tens of years. They are true communists (not dictatorships leading the "people" like Russia). They think no one owns anything like communists are supposed to think. Patents are part of a capitalist world, they are a tool to allow the individual to possess ideas and products.
So far, no one has figured out how to deal with them, including Biden.

The first thing you might want to remember about the Chinese people is that close to a billion of them live near the poverty line or below it. Only about 300,000.000 live in relative middle class standards... if that. Also consider China has millions of slaves... so... who really knows how many people live in China. People living in or near poverty are simply getting by... they are not big consumers of durable hard goods.
Trump put tariffs on China for several reasons... I will let you expand on why he did that... All I know is China re declared itself in the late 40s that they would once again attempt to dominate the entire world... or... at least the parts worth dominating. It is a 100 year plan... China plays the long game... however... the short game can still win when it is implemented strategically... What did Mike Tyson say.? everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.
So... criticize the president all you like... he is a semi insider based on his experience, the people who knows, the things he knows about them prior to being elected... and the intelligence reports that need to be analyzed to determine what's real and what isn't. Do you think the president has ever received BS intelligence reports before, or reports with key facts missing? Remember... we know the Swamp is vast... we know the Swamp loves wars... we know the Swamp will lie without blinking...

I believe some know how to deal with China, propaganda is a very powerful tool towards opening the eyes of depressed masses. Not submitting to technology transfer to do business is another. Not allowing currency manipulation is yet another among many.
It sure does not help if our leaders allow their family members to profit millions from business in China, facilitated by political favors.
Some of our leaders know how to preserve Amercan leadership and way of life in dealing with the Chinese threat, some ignore it and some benefit their families financially by not caring about America.
And here am I, just got out of quarantine from Covid for which China shows no sympathy, takes no responsibility and lies about it.

And what I keep bringing up is that obviously there was something going on with the fact your registration was not right. Then u go on to say that because Trump is willing to break any law or rule you don't know if that can be stopped which shows you believe there is a possibility it could be tampered with and stolen by someone. Then there's people in here arguing that there is no way that could happen so I used this as an example that it could be tampered with and that even you believed it was possible for it to happen with him willing to do such things. I don't like Trump don't like Biden but I am smart enough to know that ultimately the president is gonna be who the other politicians decide. My post u wanted to call me dopey for was not in any way my opinion except for the part where my eyes are well enough to see kids uncomfortable around Biden in the videos that are spreading on social media the rest was speaking on conversations I've had with people that I actually thought were Trump supporters and found out they actually weren't so I don't see where that comment came in at all.
