Regardless, we’re all in the same life boat and despite our differences we need to row together to survive.

Killing a sitting or former U.S. President would make the U.S appear weak to our enemies, aside from it being horrible in general.
I have no use for uncle Joe either, but by no means would I want him assisinated, and for many reasons, most of all, moral ones.
Hopefully this situation opens some eyes and tones down some of the hate in this country.

Let's hope THEY stop spewing. But judging from all the 'bummer he missed' social media posts from all walks of Democratic life I know they won't. Their loss is even all the more apparent now. You've not seen or witnessed the end of their desperation.

The bad actor states relish an incident such as this so they can fill up people's heads with all kinds of misinformation with hopes it will lead to more division which further weakens America.....

No good comes out of reactionary gossip...investigations need to be done in order to drill down to what the shooter's motive was.....

Until that investigation is done, everything regarding the event is purely speculation.

That being said, some crazy shooting up a venue isn't on regardless....and sadly the US has more of these than anywhere else...

Look at the nut that shot up the Route 91 concert in Las Vegas and all the footage of him hauling boxes and boxes of what later were identified as weapons....even the hotel staff helped him at one point and none of them were curious as to why a guest was hauling up so many boxes...58 deaths and over 500 injured......

Cap started a thread on it but there were only 2 posts in it......where was the outrage?

A few of us here fought for the rights of everyone on this hoard and outside to have the freedoms of their opinions without fear of retribution. That said, there are some here who seem to be looking for an excuse to argue. Like trump or hate trump, this shoot was bad. It shows a weakness in our armor that other countries are taking note of. It is separating our family ( the org ) and to what end? Now we are attacking each other? Wtf fam. Eat some freaking pie, get off the high horses and take the chips off your shoulders. In the ivory towers they both inhabit, I think they forget what an impact words have on some of the weak-minded people out there and what they think is a simple gaff is like an order to one of these people.

I just came back from 2 weeks vacation! Was at airport when the Trump attempt was unfolding. I'm not surprised it has come to this.

My first thoughts were, they should have expected this. The constant escalation of verbal rhetoric, fans the flames. They know it when they say it.

Trump got brought up on charges for inciting an insurrection on Jan 6 by words he used that some people felt meant they should march and overthrow by force.

Using that legal argument, I wonder how long it will be before they charge Biden, Maxine Waters etc. for inciting an attempt to kill a candidate for president.

Biden most assuredly is just as guilty as Trump for words he has used to bring about what we are seeing now

I can't even make it through an airport before I am reminded why the hell this country is so toxic now.

Eat some freaking pie,

Someone brought pecan pie to work last week. I thought, "Dang, that's for rich people!"

It lasted the entire week as people did not gobble it up.

I had a piece on Monday and one on Friday. And it was delicious. One of my guys took a good amount home rather than throw it out!

What is wrong with people in America today? For sure the times are insane.
