Try it before you buy it?

Yes, they are preying on the fact that the biking community is small & will pay anything to get the bike & accessories. The touring windscreen from Suzuki is sold for $700 here. The front axle sliders are for $250. I paid $650 for R&G frame sliders. You can imagine the cost of ownership here. We pay $5.9 a US gallon for 95 octane gas.
That’s rough as guts, nobody is paying anything here as pre ordered “cancelled” bikes are still in the dealerships.

I was paying $2.27 per litre for 98 or $2.21 for 95 around 3 weeks ago.

Just a quick update.
I was able to test ride the 2022 at Escondido Cycle Center (Southern California) today.
Earl (sales rep) was very, very nice and allowed me to ride it quite a while.
Unfortunately I realized it's not for me. I can definitely tell there is weight there, but most importantly the riding position did not agree with me.
I'm SOOOO disappointed! Not on the bike, but for the fact that I really though the Hayabusa was "the" one. Oh well... at least I got to try it before I purchased.

Thank you guys for all your advices and great feedback. This forum rocks!!!

Could easily look at helibars or a triple clamp spacer to improve the comfort a little.
