Unfriendly sportbike riders...Do you guys experience them?

I wave, nod or flash to everyone on two wheels depending on my position and speed.

I don't care if I get a response or not, at least they can't say the guy on the Busa ignored them

happens to me too sometimes. but very rare. and usually its from those who just wish i was not around coz i make'm look invisible!

Dont tempt me!

I need a vacation...but my girlfriend would wonder why all the pics are with another Milf on a busa...
I can arrange for a few tools to join for the photos. Would that help? And for the record my girlfriend might not like it either...

seems like all the riders in the NW are really nice.

I do give a cold shoulder though.. only to the squids though.... but when it comes to harleys , i wave if they wave first :p

I do get a response some times, but many people blow me off. I feel stupid waving at them only to have them ignore me. The people in this area (MD/DC/VA) seem to be kinda snobby or tough acting. I could be wrong, but it I distinctly get that feeling.

I live around you. I promise to be nice to ya!

I find that people here in Nevada don't wave either. I usually always wave though. In Florida it seems like everyone waves and waves back. I just think people on the east are nicer than the people on the wes.

WOW!! There must be some REAL wizards west of the Mississippi, cause that situation of "Im not gonna wave cause yer on a Sportbike" is in FULL swing here. The majority of "SAE" bike riders here see a metric bike, and its like their friggin' hands are welded to their grips.
Apologies to those SAE riders here, and the ones I DONT acknowledge on the road, but I gave up on trying to be "bro's" a few years ago. Its really such a bunch of bluesheet that I just dont engage in it anymore. It wont prevent me from stopping to help out ANY rider in need, but Im not gonna give a thumbs up to someone just to get the "This particular mfg says any other type of bike isnt cool so Im not gonna wave back to you" stare in return. Its old already.
:bs:
