Virginia Spring Ride 2006

Where would the ride in winchester go? Twisties? Is it long? Let me know, I might make it...

Why don't we follow more or less the route of the last Spring ride.  South towards Seneca Rocks, then east towards Franklin.  Yamahor could bail onto 33 there and head south to get home.  Thoughts?

well, If I met yall up there, I might trailer it (2 hours on the interstate on a 900 ain't my idea of fun), if I do trailer it, I'll be on the whole ride.

I dont think so, Dj ! I was planning on the April 8th Spring roll out but my job jammed me up unfortanetly and I already have made plans for May 6th weekend.

I'm still doing the Rolling Thunder (Memorial weekend) in DC May 26 to the 31st.

Cool ... I'm booked for the 27th, but I'm for sure going to make an effort to meet up with you that weekend. I'll PM you all of my info. If you can't ride up to Frederick, MD, then I'll roll to wherever you're hanging out. Also, just in case you need a place to bunk ... I've got room ... Only 1 hour away from D.C.

Just did a quick check on the 'net for a room Friday the 5th and it appears there might be something going on in Harrisonburg that weekend! Rooms availability looked tight!!
Anybody with any info post up...

Doing well. I just realized I've been on the board for 1 year this month. Coincidently I've had my busa for 1 year AND I need my state inspection. Ha!

Looks like I'm gonna miss out on the spring ride.

My wounds from last October are all healed up and I'm ready to ride.

Hope things are good for you guys down on coast.

If it makes you feel ANY better, I've owned Caesar for almost 3 years now and NEVER had it inspected...

Don't know why, just never put it on my list of things to do...so, it's on my list now 'cause I am assuming the good luck is running out...

Congrats on being here a year...

And I too am missing the Spring ride...

Well, I'm just appalled that JMU would schedule graduation on our spring ride weekend!! This is just unacceptable! I think I might have to write my congressional representative on this one...that is, I don't think they've smacked a policeman or resigning this week!! Anyways...any suggestions out there for lodging...I really don't want to ride in in the morning!

Hey Big T,
The Sheetz meeting place is a fairly easy ride...out 66 and down 81...I forget the exit its off. Last year I rode in the morning of the ride and with the group ride itself it came out pretty close to 500 miles roundtrip for me...really not feeling that this year. Anyway, I see you in White Plains...I'm up in Fort Washington...maybe we can get together sometime?
