Winter is winter...I spent most of the morning moving snow around....
Disagree...You're winter is mainly sub-zero snow and ice death.Winter is winter...I spent most of the morning moving snow around....
Hi. Here in New Bedford MA. warm and sunny. Cold and snow maybe soon?We got a foot of snow last nght...I was out shoveling (at 0600) and one of the neighbor's wives walked over and asked me if I'd show her how to use their snowblower (we have the same one)....after a few minutes of teaching she was off and running around the driveway like a pro..
Now having a little breakfast and out at it again....
We've got a winter's worth of snow in 2 days.
....you have to have some sort of winter activity in mind to live here....skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, something....lots of people here are into riding those big wheel bicycles on trails...Disagree...You're winter is mainly sub-zero snow and ice death.
My winter usually hovers around freezing at worst, with a few snowfalls and a handful of summer like days.
No...I will Not trade with you either!
lmao!
Riding our bikes seems a long way off, eh?Current temp is -13F. Coldest morning so far this year. Sure hope my truck starts.
It sure does. Very rarely I might be able to sneak out in March but not usually until April. It's May before true riding season hits.Riding our bikes seems a long way off, eh?
Same here and it generally sums up in October....part of the reason I wouldn't buy another bike...the season is just too short to justify it.It sure does. Very rarely I might be able to sneak out in March but not usually until April. It's May before true riding season hits.
The biggest problem I have is that I feel like a noob again after 6 months of being off the bike. Takes a while to get the butt and back used to the forward lean after a long winter in the recliner.Same here and it generally sums up in October....part of the reason I wouldn't buy another bike...the season is just too short to justify it.
....and the hands....it's my hands that take a beating the first few rides....The biggest problem I have is that I feel like a noob again after 6 months of being off the bike. Takes a while to get the butt and back used to the forward lean after a long winter in the recliner.
I have arthritis and nothing short of medication will fix it...This is gonna sound stupid but I stopped having trouble with my hands when I went to a low carb diet (Keto). I think it helped with the inflammation in my wrists. All I know is that I don't get numb fingers anymore.
