I absolutely love dade city/Brooksville and spend more time in that area than in my own neighborhood. My best friend lives there and I’m always checking for properties around there but, unfortunately, they started building a fancy neighborhood with one of those fake beaches and even added an extra exit ramp off interstate 75 to handle the crowd. It was pretty sad to see all the residents putting signs by their property’s gates expressing their disappointment with the builders destroying the tranquility and beauty of that countryside. I was told a lot of residents tried to stop it to no avail. Only good thing for your sister is that her property value will continue to go up.

Yeah they were "The Sticks" when I left Fla. Have ZERO regrets leaving there.

Sadly though, the same thing is happening here. Everything is turning into housing. Our quite little seaside community got "discovered".

Looks like a summer of wild fire smoke...we have another smog advisory until Friday or Saturday....

I say if they find out some of these wild fires were set deliberately or due to negligence, the person or persons responsible should be hung...,,publicly....

Go back a couple weeks and watch Canada's weather radar feed...tell me you don't see 8 wildfires start simeltaineously...across the entire continent.

Most likely a coincidence...that's a pretty hard thing to coordinate....but if it was-that would be a very scary thing...

There is Alot of Intentional bad going on in the world right now, all in the name of money and power...as it's always been.

It's hot out there today, the humidity is through the roof....

I went out for a quick ride but couldn't get home and out of that gear fast enough...

The good news is the bike is running fine, no codes and no FI light....(knock on wood).

I agree, there are times when I want to take the bike to run an errand or two but the stores don't open until around 0830 or so....

On the particular day in question I got the great idea to run on the bike to check something out but it was the middle of the day AKA the hottest time.....whew, it was hot....the kind of heat that is full on humidity and no amount of sweat cools you...

Did my lawn work today, holy cow it’s hot! Took 2 pairs of shorts and 2 shirts, sweat soaked clothes are hanging across chairs on patio. Did I say it’s hot here?

The heat wave is over....

Supposed to be 10'C tonight and the daytime highs are averaged at 24'C all week...with night time temps to be average 13'C, cool enough for a jacket or sweater.....

I told my cat today (yes I said cat) I’ll be glad when it cools off some, she had just come in from the porch because it’s so hot out there. I did change the oil and filter on my gen 3 today, I’m up to whole 4,168 miles on the odometer.

Your cat would be happy here....it was an awesome mid 25'C day...perfect for working outside...

I've never had such green grass this time of year....I've cut it 3 times in a 7 day period because it's growing so fast....
