Some people might think this as "quackery" but as a person who grew up on a farm and was mentored by elderly neighbor farmers as a kid, I learned things about nature (which helped me in my chosen profession later).
Through this knowledge, I look around and see the natural production of fruit, nuts like never before, our raspberry bushes have been producing more berries than ever, and my red currant bush was almost on the ground with so many berries...Our mountain ash trees are laden down along with the oak trees...and our apple trees are completely covered in apples.
Generally this will spell an ugly winter.....then I noted the leaves already changing on my Hawthorne trees which are also covered in berries.
Just now I saw a meteorologist's winter prediction for our region and it seems to be spot on with my visual cues.
Could be a wild one this winter....
