Even the birds have enough sense to fly south when it gets that cold.....Rode to work yesterday in 29F that's for the birds! I need to get 4wheels again

Hi. Here in New Bedford MA. Where I work. It is a warm 27° with a light wind. I work 1/2 outside and 1/2 in the truck as I deliver hot meals (LOL) on the hot as I stand out side at there for 10 min untill they get to the door. The first part was the other day. Today 37° with wind and rain.I've just looked at the 10 day forecast and it's calling for snow 8 out of the 10 days.....it looks like my shoveling muscles will get fine tuned....
It's snowing it's hole off out there right now....I can barely see across the street and we've gotten about 8 inches in the last hour and a half......
Looks like my day is shaping up to be on the business end of my shovel and snowblower.......
I've just come in from shoveling...it was pretty light and easy to shovel....Send it here, I'll take it!
My neighbors are headed to Disney World Monday....they will enjoy a bit better weather........but all this snow will be awaiting them on their return......
Hopefully, everything just looks cleaner with a fresh covering of snow......At least everyone can hopefully enjoy a white Christmas
Yeah, that's why I try to stay south.Yesterday it was wet snow and around 3'C, this morning it's clear and around -23'C with the wind chill, you can imagine the ice everywhere.....
I've been in the south....so hot in the summer that you melt, and every thing in the south wants to sting, bite, or eat you....(Florida and south Texas anyways)Yeah, that's why I try to stay south.
You might want to check the places you frequent. I am mostly a city person, but when I go to the country I make sure I have all the protections regardless of the location.I've been in the south....so hot in the summer that you melt, and every thing in the south wants to sting, bite, or eat you....(Florida and south Texas anyways)
Between fire ants, killer bees, poisonous snakes, spiders, alligators, pythons and all the other nasties......I'll take a cold winter any day....
I must be frequenting the wrong places......I know I did in the past in my former profession......You might want to check the places you frequent. I am mostly a city person, but when I go to the country I make sure I have all the protections regardless of the location.
