RAIN! Florence OR. Not in the forecast but it(is) the coast. Locals don’t even notice. Got in to the motel before it hit and got the bike covered. Getting tired of the stupid amount of road construction delays, very taxing plus several of them are blocking areas I wanted to photograph. I may turn around early.
The flavor of the week is hot and humid...heavy on the humid side....by 0900 this morning it was over 85'F with a 90% humidity....a person starts sweating outside by just thinking of doing work....
Too humid for the bike...it will sit...it might take the heat but the old guy on the seat would rather not have to.
I've just come in from watering all the gardens and even though they get watered twice a day, by the evening they are dry as a bone...the sun sucks the moisture right out of them.

It's become exactly the same here, which is our typical summer, and cooled to the upper 70's at night, lol, still awful, we need some cooler nights.
At least we have had some rain in the last week or so.
Things have turned green again, but the dry heat/unusual low humidity has gone.
Hopefully some decent riding weather is coming...and I get a bike together soon, lol
Went out in the truck to do an errand and the temp said 38'C or over 100'F without the humidex (which is high).
Saw a guy on a big HD wearing a helmet, shorts and flip flops......he should have had a shirt on because his back was as red as the stop sign he was sitting at.....

Typical summer high heat and humidity here too, but it's becoming a little cooler, tolerable in the shade, lol, and the overnight temleratures are starting to drop a few degrees.
Hopefully some decent riding weather is coming soon.
This morning (5:05am as we speak) it’s -1 deg C, just below freezing.. clear sky with bright stars everywhere across the heavens.
It’ll be 12 DegC at 1pm, no cloud and light winds. Tomorrow the same.
Weather is improving as we come into spring with daffodils blooming and blossoms appearing on some trees.

We should have a few months of good riding weather on the way too...probably...maybe...I hope so...we'll see
90 right now with 19% humidity. Supposed to be (under) 100 for the next two weeks.
I was thinking about getting out on the beast but the humidity is crazy out there right now....I've just come in from a 10 km walk and I'm still sweating even after a shower....
I can only imagine how hot it will be wearing all my gear on the bike.....even with all the vents open...

I’m still lying in bed here at 8:14am after a big sleep and it’s 7degC out there, grey and overcast, little wind, forecast is for 17C today.
May go for a ride, went out yesterday on the Strom coz it has heated grips and a tall screen, yeah I’m soft lol.

Still near 90°F and 65% humidity at 9pm...no fun to ride in, just stuffy and blah in full gear, even with an armored mesh jacket.
Same forecast for tomorrow, only with thunderstorms in the afternoon(but I like those).
