Weather Where You Are

Into the 4th week of high 90's
but the unusually low humidity is really helping, it's normally 70-80% this time of year, muggy and miserable, but the dryer heat is much more tolerable.

The sensor is also in the shade, lol

My truck is black, and when I start it after work I look at the outside temperature.
After a mile or so in the wind, the temperature usually drops 2 -3 degrees.
Today, I came out anf it said 98°f, and I belive it, only 2 miles down the road, and going 70mph...it said 101°
I've never seen that happen, lol
Hi. Long time bach had the truck AC set to 62. Got out of the truck it was 112. Could not get in to the truck stop fast enought.

Yeah, over two weeks in a row with temps above 120, some days 130. And some nights the overnight low is above 100! The low!

And people live there!

Anyone dealing with that hurricane?

We've had two days of rain here from what they call the remnants of it....

The forecast says it will be clear and hot starting Friday for a week or so...temps are supposed to be in the high 90's.

We are in dire need of rain, only a few brief showers in nearly 6 weeks.
Friday is supposed to bring several hours of rain, and I hope so.
I woke up to the coldest morning today since then too...73°F and 60% humididty
lol

0900 and it's 35'C (95'F) out there already......and humid as heck....

The Bumblebee is staying in the garage...it might take the heat but the old guy doesn't have to.

Good day to be inside with central air keeping me relatively cool.

I was outside getting all I needed done at 0600 when it was only 25'C (77'F) out.

We got about 3 hours of steady rain on friday...and right back to high 90's.
It's supposed to be over 100 today, but I woke up to a fridgid 76° with 65% humidity, lol
It remains awful here.
Hot summer days, sure, but a 10 degree drop overnight, if that, just doesn't cut it.
This is the worst summer for motorcycling so far in my 29 years of street riding...and our hottest months are usually August and September!
I sure hope not, and man am I ever grateful for air conditioning, at home, work, and in my truck.

Earlier I was out pressure washing the deck and I noted big black clouds rolling in.....as I was already wet from pressure washing I figured if it rained, it would just be water.....

Holy crap! I almost drowned standing up because that rain came down in buckets...I was completely and I mean completely soaked but I stayed out and got the deck done....
