what color to pick

Was already quoted $300 to wrap all accent pieces locally... but he did say the fins will be hard to do so gonna stick with heritage colorway for now then maybe down the road get them dipped or buy extra set but for sure painting chrome strip asap!

Well we're going to get awfully good at the color codes, so we can order the parts in the color code that we need, like in the past, so we don't end up with the wrong parts.

Up until recent, I've only had to order 2005 red and black parts, now it's going to be 2022 Japanese code, or silver red accent codes?.

If someone at Suzuki could facilitate that for us, we're ORG, none of us go with the standard trends. I'm lost already.

:D

As far as wrapping the parts, Las Vegas is high priced, and not very consistent.

Could someone who knows a Suzuki rep ask if we could just disassemble the plastics we get on our delivery bikes, and return them for the Japanese, or custom theme we want ?.

At least open the option of getting the color effects we want to acquire....

Sounds like we all want custom combinations....
It'll be more fun customizing and making each our own... ;)

It's really not hard to wrap stuff. Just buy the film online and take your time doing it yourself..

I do alot of wrapping on my vehicles but with the speed the heat and sharp angles most wraps will not work already talked to a couple buddies that wrap as well and they said goodluck those vents with heat won't last... dip it or replace it is what I've been told.

Less then 60 days yes it's torture but videos help and no it's better to see some videos for a change some of us are getting a gen 3 and are really excited imo it's better then reading same old comments heck it only happens once every 13 years it's my first new motorcycle and since having every gen busa and zx14 I can say this one takes the cake it's everything I could ask for out of a motorcycle at my age and price... no more unboxing videos lol don't worry videos will stop once I get it!

Always good to have a new steed in the corral....

It will be really interesting once it gets into the hands of the professionals like some of the Gen 2s did. I liked the video Randy Mamola did, he rode the wheels off one.

I wonder if the gen 3 will get the chance to really dance under the tutelage of a Moto GP rider...maybe Alex Rins??

It will think about it half the videos out there take the gen 3 to the track as well and have said the new gen is the best on track out of the 3. The areas that needed improvement have been resolved...

I would agree, the electronic suite will make it a better bike on a track although the handling characteristics will be similar as it is still a heavy bike with average suspension.

Of course Suzuki sure had lots of time to address any and all areas to be improved...

You're not going to get me trying wraps. I have hard part skills, not creative like that. I like my bikes to look factory fit and finish. Like custom "tight".

I'll get accent parts one way or another. I am going to have the fairings and nose pieces clear wrapped. I learned my lesson with the 05', and I like top end running.

We won't know how much work it's going to be until we get a look at a parts diagram, or the part in hand.

Im between the black/orange and silver red. if i could id really like to have it in black with the red accents of the silver model similar to my 2011 model. what are your thoughts?since ive had my last busa for 10yrs and its going to be handed down, i need to think what color combo i could live with until suzuki drops the “4th gen” sometime in 2030
I’m getting black gold :-)

These pics make it look like an Italian sports car, nice!
Now you're getting the idea, I think the factory colors and styling almost take away from the body lines. This is a performance machine. Just like an Italian sports car.

Except it's better !.

I suggest that you go to see the 3 colors and you choose the most you like, remember it is your money and your busa!
