What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

The rubber inner tubes used to seal the ram air tubes finally gave up the ghost. They were a pain in the ass to install anyways. So with a little digging around in the garage i found some nylons straps from a old tank bag cut then to length.

Problem solved.

Do they seal as well as he rubber? Who cares... It's debatable if the ram air seals do anything.

Cost? zero.. How often can I say that? LOL

It's the little mods I figure out for myself on the cheap that make me the happiest.

You're still hosing down your bike? Is this pic a tad blurry or is your front tire bald?

I've used a water hose on every bike I've ever owned, being careful not to get too much water in the exhaust.

As for the front tire, its bald. 12k miles on that tire. New one will come soon.

Designing some of my own quick release luggage pins from steel to titanium. Found a bolt very close to what I need so modifications will be easier than from scratch. Picked up a new tail bag .

DME .5" offset trees, DME prostreet cut forks, DME water pump blockoff. Vortext clip ons and bars. Man is this thing gonna be low in the front..

I am thinking of putting 2019 decals on my bike...I like how the Hayabusa wording runs across the entire side fairing...

My bike is a Frankenstein so I believe this change might be cool...

Fitted a pair valve block off kit today and checked the valve clearances. Bit the bullet and ordered a dme subframe today too so when that arrives it will be going on with a lithium battery aswell! My busa's weight loss journey continues lol

I think it'd look good... thinking im gonna go the opposite way this summer and pull all the decals off mine.

I think mine would be too yellow without decals....it needs something to break it up IMO.

Taking the forks apart for oil and new seals. Using the sikolene oil hope it works good cuz it cost enough lol
