I never removed mine and guy powder coated them on the spot, while I waited outside the shop.I pressed the bushings out of the rearsets with no damage but the powdercoater said it wasn’t necessary. He said rubber can go in the ovens but plastics will melt.
Did you already back the preload adjuster nuts/rings off all the way?Today was the clutch line replacement. Went with spiegler.

What’s the plan for the Yoshi cans. Sell them on ebay
I'm looking for a kit to put 17" Cbr rims on my gen 1 busa. do you know where to find them? You need a conversion axle to fit the CBR wheel, which includes spacers. You will also have to space the rotors out to line up into the brake calipers. No idea on the weight vs R1, but I added a really heavy axle so the combined wheel and axle is heavier than stock.
Yea just need to compress the spring about 3/4” to get the collar off. Think I got a way... just maybeDid you already back the preload adjuster nuts/rings off all the way?
Are you going to café racer it?I cleaned it along with the Z. All except for the wheels. When it got to 90 I went inside. Supposed to cool tomorrow thru the weekend so I’ll finish up then. I also installed this.View attachment 1620827
