What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

You should scrub the "collectible" nature of this bike from your mind. No paint job every determined that a vehicle was a collectible.

I hope this message of truth helps you to release your burden.

Kind of reminds me of the "Canadian Edition" '84 pop up Katana...the difference is it was numbered 1-199 (no 13). The same bike was also not imported into the US but was imported to many other countries.

The gold edtion Busa might be similar in concept...as it never got imported into the US in this color scheme did it?

Looky here you you "Canadian Hater." Just 'cause you don't like back bacon or real maple syrup or Pamela Anderson does not give you the right to go off about the Gold Busa. @hayabuser get yer sorry azz outa bed(6:34AM here) and help me out here. This particular Busa was only released to a few countries, with very low production numbers. It is akin to the 1992 GSXR 750 (first water-cooled GSXR) which was first released in Canada. Suzuki (very smart people) determined that you Yankee's could not handle the powerful 750,so they sent you guys the little 600 to appease you.
When hayabuser gets outa bed (usually about noon,he doesn't like to rush into anything) you are in deep kimchee. He will have the numbers.
Now grab some canned ham, fake syrup and yer Loni Anderson and get back under yer rock. This ain't over mister. You hear me...EH.

@rubbersidedown Dang you got the Lonnie Anderson vs. Pamela thing dead on. With regards to stocking up on instant, substandard, or corn syrup injected food please do not presume me to be of the ubiquitous Neanderthals of today who do not value food, as I am far better than that.

Try not to make the mistake of those who worship data and raw numbers, as usually truth supersedes most numbers. In this case merely listen to yourself: "Low production numbers" ...of this paint job. Enough stated.

There is no need to gang up on me with your fellow mounties as you have taken the wrong context. Truth comes from a position of love. Not hate. Love.

Did a couple low-dollar mods today but I'm pretty stoked as to how they turned out. B4's and afta's.
I can't recall seeing this done to a Busa but then again,I don't get out much.

Just a pinch labor intensive. After about 2-3 pushes forward, paint, repeat I went with an' old trick. Had too,my knee's were on fire. Into the trunk of the Acura for one of them skidish scissor jacks. Don't try this at home kids. But,I have no rear stand for the big fatty. The kick stand and jack take all the weight off the azz end allowing the tire to be spun in place.

Well Rubb I will give you that's different. Looks like you squished the blood out of someone as you ran them over. I could be wrong but usually people paint the lettering on the tires when they say they painted the tires. But you roll your roll bro, lol!
So..."Hero" or "Zero" ? I'll mark you down for a "Zero"
Althou...I LOVE your analogy...

"Looks like you squished the blood out of someone as you ran them over."

No offense but the tire marker paint is an old played out thing of the past brought back by internet sales. It doesn't look bad just an observation.

But,but...but Nastee, I didn't buy it off the internet,I bought it at NAPA. :D
Well if this is a NEW-OLD-RETRO thing, then fug it. Now I gotta go buy a gallon of paint thinner. Do you remember the colored tires thing? You could get tires in the color of your choice. I thought it was fugly. Oh my god, what have I done.:banghead:
My buddy,my Bro,my "off the Christmas card, new Frienemy" @fallenarch is a solid NO.

I’m digging it bro!
Hero all the way lol.
Those colored tires look shite.
But I thought the same as Arch, looks like ya ran over some drunk dude crashed out on the road and squished him.

Thanks Greg. It does look better in person for sure. Ya, that Arch...real cut up.
The red matches all the bikes plastics and add-on bits perfectly. As if I mixed it myself.
