What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Some mods are easily determined as good or bad, others just kind of fit. Like others have said, I wouldn't do it, Rubb, but it fits your style. Neither a Hero or Zero for me, too.

Not hard to install on the stator. Remove 4 bolts and replace withe longer ones. Have used this and the Woodcraft covers previously.
Cool....I have noted my bike has zero sliders on it so am slowly starting to attach a few here and there just in case.

I like the tank pad.
This made me laugh my guts out. Same sort of dry humor I just love. It's like the line used by the "straight man" in old movies and TV. Or when somebody goes into a huge long dialog waiting for some big giant scientific explanation...and all they get it "No."
My guess, 08Busa doesn't really even like the tank pad...he just used that like that kinda like a prop in a comedy routine.

Rubb.
I actually do like the pad. It would look good on my bike with the red and grey theme I have.

I believe so as well....

If he uses one, I reckon it's good to use...
The T-rex no-cut sliders have saved me a fortune in plastic. They do work very well. I have had a relatively fast laydown and a few slow tip overs, most only got minor scuffs. Don't let the no-cut fool you, these things are very well engineered and strong enough. In the faster lay down the slider bracket broke on one side, which is what it's supposed to do so the frame is not bent. The 2 sides are connected by a rod so it took the initial impact which broke the bracket but still kept the fairing off the road because of the rod. Crash tested, Fallen approved!

PS: Don't switch out bolts on these unless you really know what you are doing. The bolts, brackets, etc are engineered as a system to fail and not transfer big loads to the frame.

Just put the stator cover protector on...had to shim it a bit as the protector was contacting the stator cover-looks ok, I got it in gold to kind of go with other bits and bobbles on the bike.

Did a couple low-dollar mods today but I'm pretty stoked as to how they turned out. B4's and afta's.
I can't recall seeing this done to a Busa but then again,I don't get out much.
looks way cool I think, but feel free to flame on. I always do. Everybody gots an' opinion.

Just a pinch labor intensive. After about 2-3 pushes forward, paint, repeat I went with an' old trick. Had too,my knee's were on fire. Into the trunk of the Acura for one of them skidish scissor jacks. Don't try this at home kids. But,I have no rear stand for the big fatty. The kick stand and jack take all the weight off the azz end allowing the tire to be spun in place.

Then I swapped out tank protectors. Loved the one I had,fit well with the Goth,Death,Skullz,Spikes,Mad Max theme...but the new ones way cool too.

Sorry rubb just had too, I don't think it looks bad and definitely chose the right color but I seen this the other day and just had too

Changed the oil....broke down and bought a K&N oil filter and it wouldn't screw on, it was like the threads were different...So I reused the OEM one after draining all the oil out of it....no leaks and GTG.

I eye-balled that foam on the inside of the fairings but decided to leave it for now...it's over 100'F out right now.

That’s odd, been using K&Ns for years and have never had a problem.

It was acting like it was a different thread....the OEM screwed right on with zero issue.

I tried cleaning the threads on the K&N filter but that didn't help...

It is odd as I've used them before in other bikes with zero issues...I kept the receipt at least.
