Just had the engine rebuilt with a 570cc kit, lives in my office at work. Picked it up for next to nothing years ago.
Most fun I’ve had riding the two bangers.

I had the privilege of riding a few of them when they were just out...even raced a 250 for 2 races, it was a blast...
Saw both a 250 and 500 Walter Wolf edition at a dealership, Should have bought one of them...the 250 got sold and the 500 got consumed in a fire at the bike shop...
I love the sound and smell of a well tuned 2 stroke...

They are fetching $35k + over here for half decent condition.

Right, when you said "2" bangers I thought that meant you had the 2 of them..never heard a 2 stroke referred to as a "2 banger" now I have....
It was too bad Suzuki didn't get that "water buffalo" sorted out better....they would have been awesome. The Kawi triples were better....for as long as they held together that is....
They are expensive here as well...we only got the 250 and 500 versions...the only 400 (newer version) was the NSR400 Honda

I had a 250 "S1" and should have tucked it away somewhere but 16yr olds never think too far ahead.
I also should have tucked away my RD400 Daytona but it was far from stock so probably not worth as much as a pristine copy. It sure was fun though...

Finished COMPLETELY rewiring my air shifter and kill

Yep! Ordered the same pump y'all mentioned. I only have about 1-2hrs of downtime a day right now so I just pulled it out today. Tomorrow I will disassemble, cut off the new pump plastic, and pick up the other parts (hose, clamps, filter). Reassemble Thursday and Friday.

Nope! Just doing the fuel filter mod and figured I would do it while I am in there
