What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Rode it!

Well today I finally got off my ass and worked on it. Changed the oil with Motul, flushed the radiator, flushed out some dirty ass clutch fluid, bled the front brakes. Coolant flushing out actually looked pretty good but now I've got Motul coolant in there too and I know it's clean. Took the body off both sides to do everything, seemed like it was necessary. Plus I want to put on frame sliders and the stock rear shock linkage tomorrow. Btw how do you guys check your oil level on a sloped street? Just curious, I've been putting the wheel up on something to level front to back and then just hold it up as perfectly balanced as I can side to side and then check the site glass. Does anyone else do this?

Doesn't everybody check fluid level this way in less than ideal conditions? I get on my knees (literally and figuratively) on the site-glass side and balance the bike, rock it back & forth just to see.

On the other hand, I've used a level on the surface where the bike gets serviced just to gauge how level is level, how full is full, how low is low... It's a one-quart range we have to play with, right?

[EDIT]
@WuzzaCBXRider +1 a rear stand once the bike is aligned w/ the slope in question, if feasible

I do this sometimes as well, I put a block of wood under the side stand and gently pull the bike towards me...once in a while I get the wife to center the bike.

Thanks Dai, she's getting there. Wasn't sure exactly what I was getting or needed. Now that it's together, I have an order for Tristan @ Redline tomorrow.. (agian..lol)
Hi. I an doing rese arch on my next 2 big buys, the turbo and the Inconal exhaust header. I am working with RCC, Powerhouse, DAS and DME on this custom set up. I am hopping I can get the Gattett G 42-1200c to fit. This will be an modifyed RCC 1000 HP kit.

Ah Tristan has taken more than enough money from me but no doubt I’ll be buying more poop off him in the near future.

Is that an Akrapovic exhaust?.
