The one thing I hate about new bikes… that damn sticky grease on the chain that coats the wheel and swingarm…. An hour with a mild degreaser, because sometimes that stuff will dull the paint, some quality car wash soap and good old elbow grease and she’s still not perfect but.... I’ll get it all off soon enough.

Dampen a rag with WD40 and wipe the chain as you spin it (with your hand). Doesn’t take long at all and really cleans the chain well.

I know what you mean! The frist thing, when i get a new bike, is to clean the chain. I use chain cleaner or gasoline with a little bit motoroil in it. Then i use my own Chainlube from S1000, but even then, after a ride, you find it everywhere on the Bike.

Gasoline to clean a chain? Generally that's not good for the O rings...kerosene is a better choice.
