Late post, but got a new to me seat!
I've got that seat on mine and so far has been the best thing I did to mine . How many miles you got on that seat so far and how do you like it??

Yes, saddleman with the channel in the middle. I've had other saddleman seats but no groove, so I was pleasantly surprised with it.I've got that seat on mine and so far has been the best thing I did to mine . How many miles you got on that seat so far and how do you like it??
Mine's under its cover hibernating in the corner of the garage.Remembered it
Does the grove in seat help for comfort and how does it help? Thanks
I never understood that throttle grip play. I hate the slightest throttle slack.Today I adjusted the slack out of my throttle, made a huge difference how the throttle feels. I know that’s boring to the guys that are doing serious work but I’m happy to have the slack gone.
I am also curious? To relieve your tailbone? Otherwise I wouldn't know either... for farts?Does the grove in seat help for comfort and how does it help? Thanks
I was just about to post the same thing-a fart channel.....I am also curious? To relieve your tailbone? Otherwise I wouldn't know either... for farts?
I rode 200 miles yesterday with the throttle slack removed and I noticed a big difference taking off from stand still. The throttle just feels better.I never understood that throttle grip play. I hate the slightest throttle slack.
I like that answer, I have my original seat so I’m going to call Saddlemans tomorrow and send mine off for the mod, thank you." seats incorporate a split piece of SaddleGel and a channel in the base foam to relieve seating pressure on the perineal area, increase blood flow, thus keeping the rider in the saddle longer."
It makes a difference! Had one of their normal gel seats on my 06 GSXR 1000 and it was great. This one is even a step better with the channel cut out.I like that answer, I have my original seat so I’m going to call Saddlemans tomorrow and send mine off for the mod, thank you.
Having had one now for a couple years, I can honestly say, it’s a marvellous thing. No numbing of the underneath bits, comfy and works well on the twistie bits and track. But, like all seats, after about 5-6 hours, I’m standing on the pegs, or bum walking in the seat…" seats incorporate a split piece of SaddleGel and a channel in the base foam to relieve seating pressure on the perineal area, increase blood flow, thus keeping the rider in the saddle longer."
