I rode my mate’s 2008 Busa tonight after doing a full service on it…45000km and what a weapon!
It’s all stock apart from the yoshi mufflers, but it has noticeably more power than my Gen 1, probably the extra 20 horses under the fuel tank lol, it’s in lovely condition and the motor, suspension and brakes are like new!
It’s a nice warm evening here tonight with no wind at all, about 22 deg at 8.30pm doesn’t get dark til 9.45pm, rode about 35 kms around the local country roads… very little traffic and no cops….just awesome!!

Paid just over $1200 for it on Black Friday sale time. Saved a little over $250 as the original price was around $1515 if memory serves me. Got it set up for 4" over at my weight for roll racing on my Gen 1. When you order, they have someone call you and go over what your plans are for the bike, height, weight, etc. I added on a rotating banjo for an extra $10. Very happy with it. Extremely well built. Working on rewiring my bike. Every extra item on it is getting soldered and its own power and ground wire. No splices. I want to know my wiring and know if it is an issue with power exactly where to look. Solder, heatshrink, and correctly colored wire.
I’m also adding a two port usb c plug to where my boost and fuel pressure gauges are.
Also need to get 2.5wt oil for my steering damper as I emptied it out.
I keep reminding myself that this is not max kill race bike. This is very very fast streetbike and long distance bike.

You would just 2.5w fork oil wouldn’t you?
