Just changed oil & filter, adjusted the chain. Almost forgot what a pain it can be , not as bad as the first time with side cover & AH pipe.

After I paid homage to the bike, I took it for a ride...it seemed to like it. I found out it will power wheelie like my Bandit....(found out by accident of course).

My first two wheelies were unintentional too. Turned out my throttle needed an adjustment.

Going to have some rain this week so stripped her down. Took off the 19 counter sprocket and put on a 17. Figures it would be a little more fun and gonna take her to the strip next weekend. Wired a new fuel pump relay had fuel pressure drop the other day and could see the voltage drop was from the relay or the stock thin wire. Ordering a clutch mod ring and clutch springs was gonna pull that all part but had to call it a night.

I had lots of help tonight also.

Put on an aluminum subframe today. SOOOOO light. Huge difference from stock metal one. I never have a passenger, so I hope the welds hold up.

dropped in a KN filter ( that center screw was fun still not sure if its in all the way ) replaced my pegs with the knights set.. just waiting on my seat and riser to get in and added t-handle set to my onboard kit .. ( well not a set but the 3 that i normally need the most)

Gave the K&N a bath, it sure was dirty on the intake side, the good thing is on the throttle body side it is whistle clean-even the throttle bodies are spotless...

No it's not. That's why I am washing it and waxing it lol. The big red truck can stay dirty.

My bike gets washed and waxed every week.

a welded mod, but what’s the ring about? 19/? Were u running? 19/52 is fun at the strip so that’s about a 17/46. I def need to find the right strip bearing.

Took a lil ride to test the valve adjustment (all in spec) so I don’t know why it’s even required. This makes just three valve checks in 62,000+ miles and they’re always in spec. They sure built them right in 06. It’s ninety DAMN four outside and it’s just 12:44 so I’m back home under the A/C.

.75" risers and Heli-bars fit stock cables and lines.

I have the helibars and a 1” riser. I can tell you that this particular combination will not work unless you trim the windscreen.
