What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Bought an intake manifold to go w/ a short exhaust ~ hope I get better mileage when it is all said & done *

They make standard and short levers for the Brembo master cylinder so I'll probably go that route. I currently have ASV levers now and didnt want to get rid of them just for a master cylinder upgrade.
I hear you there....I have the Brembo master cylinder for the brake and the stock one for the clutch so right off the bat, they are mis-matched and hard to get two so I went stock on the clutch so at least they look alike.

Looks real nice . Hows foot position ? Now you need a correct brake line , and are you a rare individual that weighs the correct amount for factory set sag on the rear shock ?

Foot position is about stock for the time being. Gonna raise plate and peg height up a little and will adjust more as time goes. Have to order a brake light switch tomorrow.

As for suspension settings, I'm going to have a local shop adjust that for me. I'm 6'1" and 160 lbs. Small frame person on a big bike. I've never messed with suspension on any bike I've ever owned.

As for the brake lines, that will be taken care of in time. Next parts on the list are new chain and sprocket kit along with poly cush drive bushings.

I changed my oil for the first time at 500 miles. 100 miles early but I figured I would do it again at 1500.

I wish you could do it without taking the fairing off. I have not done it in about 9 years so now that I know the tricks next time will be faster...

I checked the exhaust bolts I could reach but none were loose. Do they normally get loose? My old Concours did. Next is to service the chain.

Put fairing back together after last weekend's Chain and Sprocket change, gave her a nice pledge bath, then went inside to cool off.

Tried to diagnose my issues. Can't get it to start. If anyone with experience can check my build thread in All Motor and offer some help I'd appreciate it.

I sort of like the rubber lines on the rear so it won't lock as easy. Was planning to go to a left hand trigger on the rear brake but sort of lost priorities since we don't do as much track time as I was once thinking I would.
