What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Reinstalled front end after rebuild. Original fork seals lasted 57000 miles. Oil, not so much, didn't know what I was missing since she feels like a Cadillac now. Future rebuilds will be at 25000 miles for sure.

Starter is cooked. Lol. I have no luck.

No wonder, what with all that cranking when the motor wouldn't start!!
Give us a run down on the type of noises it made in it's dying moments
None. lol I started it went on a 30 mile ride, came home and it clicked. I did smell something while riding but I thought it was a car in front of me. Guess it was me.

I feel like I should have a memorial service for it. It treated me well. Maybe a moment of silence.

Stared long and slowly at my Gen 1 KNOWING how awesome the awesomenomity of the 1999 UNRESTRICTED Hayabuser actually is.
The smooth flowing lines and the stance of a stallion it beats the Gen 2 any day in my book!

Today is the final ride . . . . . .

until the next oil and filter at 108500kms.
Every 8000kms she gets fully synthetic 10w40 Repsol and a fresh genuine Soozooki oil filter.
As Ali said . . . " Gen 1 For LIFE "

ps: the long stick lying on the ground in the foreground is the symbolic 'spanking' rod . . .
. . . be afraid, be VERY afraid !

Supposed to Bicycle 80 on Saturday morning with a bunch of friends
Sunday morning I Am pre running a 10 mile course, there is a race coming up on it, and some friends have never run it.
Let John know If, when you are out and about and maybe I will cruise over and we can bench race :race: BTW I have no spare starter, with my previous hard starting issue I have been thru three

Recd. my new Michelins(Power RS)and pick up front cowling and lower left fairing tomorrow(upper left in transit),should be back on the road by(hopefully)next weekend.

$688.47 for the front cowling and lower part of the left side fairing(which came with the heat shield but no pads, guess I'll have to order some or see if I can get the old ones off and glue them on to this new piece).Ordered some new ones with the upper left side so will have to wait 'til it gets here to see what all's included.
