What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Although I needed little Japanese hands to get to it I made do with my two mitts and gave the horn contacts a good scrubbing. Seemed to do the job when tested. The horn looks like crap, is the nut behind it all that’s holding it in place?

Maybe this is a good excuse to upgrade to one of those stebel(?) horns.

I do sometimes use my horn, it’s not audible over my exhaust at high speeds but in town I use it. It is usually followed up with a rev rev lol. So technically speaking I can see where wuzza and brown are coming from. For me, knowing the horn was there I want it to work for the mere fact that it’s supposed to work. My ocd eats away at me when things don’t work.

Ordered my new front tire. Now I have to wait for it to come in and then I'll throw it on. See if I can squeeze a few more miles out of the front. So far, I'm at 114xx on this current pair.

I should be able to get a couple thousand more out of the rear tire. Still a lot of tread on it.

Today drain coolant , Refill , Polish misc parts back to shine , refill oil if custom oil drain plug comes in mail , install Gun Drilled titanium O2 sensor plug in titanium exhaust pipe , clean / detail , drop GSXR1000 fender off for paint , install rizoma handlebar end caps ( remove bar end weights )

Called the insurance company to place her under the storage discount, since I don't ride in weather under 60 degree.

I've adjusted my limit to under 50°. I can't quit quite yet!

Every day toad, when I see your bike it’s like when you see that extremely attractive woman across the room, and you run over to greet her and realize she is married.

Stripped the bike down and degreased everything only to realize it’s still not even close to as clean as c10’s

Jeff bike lives on this lift when not ridden. Every day I clean or inspect some small part or area. Ram Jam has seen some very foul weather riding. Just recently 600 miles in terrible rain. He was filthy!
