What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

That is a gorgeous cat!! looks like a minature bob cat. Kudos on the carbon !! I am a carbon fiber addict, although I don’t exactly have the fundage that Toad does.
Thank you sir. Found the cat when he was 3 days old about to be run over by a car. Never a cat person, but what can you do? Hes almost a year now, active as heck.

I wish I could afford carbon also, this is why I went with this first LOL I have a credit card begging to be used but I sort of know better.

I fitted new Michelin Pilot Power 3 2CT's today at work.
On the way home (42km trip) I felt a slight wobble . . .then it got worse.
I stopped and checked the rear tire, yep, flat as a turd. Dammit!
I had to ride on that flat tire 18kms to the next gas station, at 20kmh, with trucks and vehicles passing real close at 100kmh, bloody dangerous!
I found a nail in it. I bought a tire pando and inflated it to 40psi to get me the next 15kms to home.
I also noticed the damage done from riding on it flat for so long  NOT GOOD!!
I'm not gonna risk using it so I've just ordered another Michelin, another $240 F$*K it!!!
Here';s the nail, that white spot, where the liquid latex has seeped out.

Here's the damage grrrrrr!!!

Took my bike to work today, freezing cold ride there, 4deg C, wind chill below zero! Brrrrr . . . my fingers were numb when I got there, but it was a blue sky, no clouds, and 14C all day.
Here's a few pics of the shop.

Get some electric gloves. I won a pair of Tourmasters on an election bet years ago and they’re great. Have them wired direct to the battery with a pigtail I keep tucked under the seat that I use with the cord that runs thru a jacket sleeve. Even turned off they’re good cold weather gloves and on, wow, what a difference when you’re fingers aren’t frozen. You might even get an employee’s discount!

My bike is still not ready. My wife has left multiple messages with powder coater; no response. Last I talked to them, the wheels and rear sets where to be done last Friday. (has had them 3 weeks) I'm home now, I will be there when they open soon. (one of the reason I couldn't slept last night)

I was hoping to pick up my bike from shop doing the mechanical work when they open soon. But all the parts for the facelift are still here. (slow powder coater).

The shop doesn't want my parts "sitting" around their shop, they also don't want to start their work until the wheels are back from the power coater.

I won't list them all. It's about 3 days of install time.

It's raining out so I didn't want to ride the cruiser. Instead I updated the instrument cluster.

Cluster - 1.jpeg

Bluegauges.com changed all the backlighting to white, so I didn't added to backlighting that come with the new faces.

The cluster cover is from BallZMotorsorts.com I though the cover slide over the original, not. I also didn't know I had to remove the "inner panel" that has the label. I think it came out ok.

I'm going to start on the halo's (RGB) for the new headlight later, wish me luck !

Sounds like you need a new powdercoat shop.....

Although I needed little Japanese hands to get to it I made do with my two mitts and gave the horn contacts a good scrubbing. Seemed to do the job when tested. The horn looks like crap, is the nut behind it all that’s holding it in place?

Horn? Oh you mean the thing that the shifter button used to operate? Delete that crap. Right wrist controls the noisemaker.....
