What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Jeff bike lives on this lift when not ridden. Every day I clean or inspect some small part or area. Ram Jam has seen some very foul weather riding. Just recently 600 miles in terrible rain. He was filthy! View attachment 1587504
Your hard work shows, the bike looks flawless and meticulously maintained. I’m trying to get my bike to that point. 12 years and some hard knocks have beaten it down but seeing your bike, your posts and what you do is inspirational. Thanks for always sharing!!

Simple prepping for a lil ride mañana. Heading north on hiway 49, never been the entire way north. Will be coming back thru some great farmland I haven’t seen since the 80s. Hoping the autumn leaves are in great supply and turning. Will probably take a couple days.

I looked at the pics of my new bike on my phone because it isn't getting delivered until tomorrow. First Busa... I can't wait...

42° and it felt like a warm 64° all thanks to heated gear.
Seriously? Like legitimately 64? Were there any cold spots or areas like your neck or ankles that felt brisk? I never thought heated gear was a 100% fix for the cooler weather. Now I am thinking twice

So . . . .you're in Canada . . . and it's coming into winter . . . . and you're picking up your new bike, right?
I hear winter in Canada is pretty cold and icey, right?
That's gonna drive you nuts not being able to ride your new Busa . . ain't it?

The West coast is fairly mild. I should be able to get some good riding days in.... Not as many as I'd want. The first snow is going to pretty disappointing though.

The coldest part on me was my hands and that's because I dont have winter gloves yet. I do have heated glove liners but they only do so much. I wear my A-Stars riding boots so my ankles and foots never really get cold.

Got my ASV levers with a bit of help from GAMedic;s pics of his box with part numbers. (thanks Bud!!) and put them on over the weekend and took a 220 mile spin down around Leesburg Fl to check them out

You'll love them. The "infinite" amount of positioning with the dials puts them in the best spot for each rider. I'm still adjusting mine constantly to find my sweet spot.

May I ask, do the brake light and clutch switch still work with the levers?
And would you have a link to where GAMedic posted the part numbers?
Thanks

Man since I seen GAMedic’s post I really really wanted those. I never even knew levers of that stature existed. Looking good !!
