What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Had to reach out to Monster Fairings, they replaced my parts that came with flaws and all was good UNTIL I mounted them up and realized that the color and graphic position was off slightly.
Never a dull moment :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Note to self: “if ever getting monster fairings, just to change things up a bit, keep what they initially send and live with the small imperfections on the finish”.

Sorry to see that @jeffgordons24

LMAO, yes it sucks to be OCD with things. The amount of money I have lost in the rebuild is crazy between the fairings back and forth, parts that I thought I would like then realized I did not but can not return, Parts that I purchased but then upgraded resulting in a second purchase.
The life of a Busa owner I suppose.

Sell off what you don't use when you're done. Selling used parts won't allow you to recoup all your loot, but you can definitely get some of it back.
And you take pride in your bike, noting wrong with being particular about it.

Now they are really gonna send assasin to my home lol they tried to say it was a fitment issue.

I broke my passenger side fairing taking it off to do my oil change the other day. Guess it's time to start my new fairing collection.

OHHH lol you got lucky. Gen 1's dont even have those. The only posts we have is for the dash portion of the side fairing. So you are still in the clear
Hi. I have stared to make the fuel system build. On the body work I have custom made carbon fiber body and tank I do my own paint. It will be white pearl with purple and blue pearl fading into very dark purple tail. I have the over and under head light with LEDs the tail light will be a v with LEDs under the paint They will not show until I turn on the 3 way head light switch I got fron K&L. Hi c10 Kelly is a 11 I am a -3.

My onlins SD030 damper arrived today gonna run this set to “18” clicks which is basically no damper at all then if I ever decide to dial it up at least I have the option to. I got it gently used. The previous owner polished it which kinda sucks, I like polished things but it just kinda doesn’t go with my bike theme. This thing is cool as hell though. 10 clicks in and it has the identical resistant to my oe damper
18 clicks and a light wind can blow it side to side.

I received a call and email today from the shop doing work on my bike, the wheel powder coating is flaking off. The bike hasn't been riding at all, it's been indoors at the shop the whole time.

I can't believe it, wheels took 3 weeks to get done.

From the pics, where powder coating flaked off you can see the original color (black). Shows they weren't sandblasted before they were coated. No wonder the coating is flaking off.

I'm not having the same powder coater "redo" the wheels, no way. My wife is going out to them for refund.

Now the rim decals have to be stripped to powder coat the wheels again. So, I have to reorder rim decals and have then reinstalled.

I'm glad I'm not a home, my reaction was not pleasant. No actions or words to regret.

My wife will handle the interactions, she's not emotionally connected to the bike like I am.

Here's the pics I received.
