What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Just swapping bolts as usual, and cleaning / detailing as reassembly continues.
Wife got some new clothes via mail so told her each shirt is a bolt I'm ordering ;) 15 new shirts so 15 new bolts :)

Hi C10 , is that an aluminum ? bracket joining the muffler strap to the mounted frame ? Does the muffler need it now to mount up to your pannier brackets , in place of the original passenger peg bracket ? Also , your stock rider peg assemblies , are they polished 8mm dome head titanium fasteners you have fitted there ? Looking very clean bro !!

Wished I was riding it:mad:

Checked both bikes, said hello, gave them a pat, looked at the green tender lights. Raining here and snow is falling just 3,000’ up and a half hour away. Waiting for a clear day when snow’s on the ground up the road so I can suit up and go for a putt and take some pics. Have to remember to take my kickstand pad cause most places to pull over are soaked and very soft. I found my CBX listing heavily to port just in the nick of time one cold day in Idaho.

Hang in there Jeff , you can now take your sweet time getting your baby all nice and thoroughly detailed and lubed up , all ready for the first good days of next ride season !! Keep posting up pics of your progress bro , I like your enthusiasm a lot .
Thank you Toad, you and @c10 and @mabupa are my inspiration along with many other good Hayabusa lovin’ people here. Got @Kiwi Rider who is our eyes on the inside with his yodaful insights lol. It’s refreshing to see so many people with the same OCD tendencies and crazy obsessions as me. Thank you for letting me share and I sure as hell will continue to :fire:

Always good to have a few "silver backs" hanging around any site and we are blessed to have several here with gobs of experience.

Out in the sun for a few heat cycles to get air out of fresh coolant system.
Toad that bracket is stainless from Muzzy. The trapper Allen bolt has been on for a couple of years, but the smaller gun drilled Titanium is new in place of a solid stainless bolt

What is the temp like over by you?
I for the life of me can’t figure out why the hell your bike looks so much cleaner than mine. What am I doing wrong .
I have been cleaning and cleaning for months I mean damn yours looks like it just rolled off the assembly line in Japan.
Mine looks like something you see in storage wars.

Hey Jeff, your bike looks great too man, but WTF is going on with that swing arm hex nut?? Is that corrosion? Looks awful . . . just sayin'.
Ya gotta realise C10's bike is adorned with Ti jewelry and other real expensive tasty pieces of art-like parts, that's why it looks so nice, oh and also the high gloss black paint and lovely Muzzy exhaust system, AND it's a Gen 2 as well so it always will look newer.
Don't fret though Bro', Gen 1's are in a class of their own. Always will be.
Your ride is a beautiful sexy vixen that just begs to be screwed, ahem, I mean ridden hard (same thing!) and you have a case of the old 'his bitch looks nicer than my bitch' blues.
The cure is . . . . STOP LOOKIN' at his Biarch bro'!!! :moon:
