Hey Doomz, beautiful gen 2:). How did u lower the bike? Did you use the stock suspension and adjust the pre load?

I’m wanting to lower mine and I’m just not sure how much is involved. I read in the owners manual about how to change preload and dampening but haven’t messed with it yet. Can I get my Busa riding low like yours with stock set up?

From the images his bar clamp allows him to slide his forks up which lowers the front of the bike down. For the rears of the Busa you can get adjustable lowering links they come in threaded and also slotted.

Well everyone has been ultra busy and it all looks great! Jeff can't get over those rims. C10 is at the top of his game & I will be lopping off my muffler eyelets next. Toad makes me gawk at his lazer sharp parts selection and their modest display. I don't feel as guilty about all the parts that just arived today being close to X-mass and all. Mr. Brown would love to see what bikes you have now and the past ones as I can't keep track or am just old & forgetfull. Will get in the garage and post new parts soon. Cold Brah

I took my bike out on the usual route yesterday, gained some unwanted attention from the local road pirates. (Highway Robbers) I may or may not have been exceeding the speed limit . . . slightly.
Also saw a group of about 8 Bandidos MC, fully patched up on Harleys, with about 6 car loads of chicks and young guys all in tow, and all pulled in to the pub out on the peninsula. They never went in and bought a beer, all stood around in the car park drinking their own beer and looked tough for awhile. The chicks all went and used the pub's toilets.
I think the cops were watching them so left me alone, thank goodness, got home safely and went to bed.

Nicely said Nastee, thank you I pondered my rim scenario a while and it was either blue or carbon. My wallet can only afford blue at the moment.
@c10’s bike is something else, I admire him a lot because he devotes a lot of time to bettering the small areas that many people overlook. @ROADTOAD1340 does have some kick ass parts and lots of carbon which I love! @Mr Brown bike is bad ass drag/street and a fellow gen 1!
Congrats on all your new parts Nastee can’t wait to see your pics!!

Haha nothing like some hooligans that can act as a scapegoat! Glad you got away unscathed Kiwi.

Hi c10,
Can you spare some details on the switch assy please? Is it the same wiring setup as the previous model? Is it a direct replacement?

I have it on my boulevard and am in the middle if sourcing for the Busa.
Cheers
I'll get you a part # tomorrow. Yes direct replacement just unpin the four wires in molex conector and pin in new same color wires. They have pin on already

Replaced engine oil with a new AUSSIE BRAND 10/40 motorcycle oil along with a new ryco oil filter cleaned and lubed drive chain cleaned DNA air filter it did not need lubing this time around that should keep me going for a while

I
thanks for the heads up you two. I felt like my stock seat was far more comfortable but it was ripped up when I bought it and I couldn't find a corbin in stock at the time so I went with this. So far, it's not as soft by all means but it's abnormally cold here currently. We shall see how it holds up once Florida realizes it's Florida.
m looking for a dirt cheap OEM seat, if you want to sell yours. I only really need the seat pan and foam or even pan only.
