What did you do to your Gen 3 today?

Trying paint 9n the boomerangs, scuffed with gray scotch brite and painted black 5 ish coats, will see how they turn out once dry. Figured worst case just have someone wrap them

Yes, definitely better than chrome!
What on Earth were the designers thinking when they had the opportunity to make it black, but opted for chrome? Eeeww.
In the pic I see you had the Busa frame and engine perched upon that ornate wooden table . . NICE!
(does your wife know her table is being used as a Busa work bench? lmao!)

I agree, chrome definitely doesn't belong on a sport bike....they probably hired a designer from the HD team....

I do wish they had not made those to be chrome-looking. Can't quite say chrome does not belong on a sportbike, though. Just needs to be done with taste.
Everyone has their own taste....

I personally can't see where chrome would have a place on a sport bike unless it's one of the customized ones and even those aren't my personal taste.

It’s not quite a what I did, but it’s definitely what I’m about to do post intercooled 58mm spinny boi coming in hot it should be delivered right in time for my work schedule to calm down and actually be able to crank out an install in a few days instead of weeks

Putting one of those on seems so fun but I’m the kinda guy with a few screws left over after the install

the wait is finally over!

I can’t say enough about this kit from Scott. Full bolt on, everything included, stock fuel system friendly and first impression is incredibly stout bordering overbuilt for a 500hp capable kit. I have a ride to a Suzuki event next weekend and then the year down and install will begin.

58mm pulsar, intercooled, BOV’d ready to go.
