I ran over a turtle once. Thought it was going to be a big bump, but I just flattened it. Poor turtle...

I hit a small allegator one night coming home from a drag strip on my Gen 2. It was dark outside on a black road with no moon. I was going about 65 and saw it at the last minute, shifted my weight back as far as I could and braced for front wheel impact. No damage to me or the bike, but I am sure the allegator did not make it.

My older brother told me years and years ago he hit a dog on his newly restored Norton 850 Commando....the sad part is the guy who owned the dog was warned by the police to keep it tied up as it was a car chaser.....he didn't listen and the dog paid the price...

The front forks got bent and he rode it through a set of hedges but didn't drop it and was able to ride it home....
