Crazy how much the new Corvettes look like an exotic...almost too much so as they've lost their unique look.Rode to work for a meeting, and home depot for more backer screws.
Parked by a new Corvette. View attachment 1633439View attachment 1633440

The DRZ is light and easy to ride in the hills and tight slow bends, the Hayabusa gets left in the garage lol.
But here’s some shots from a day ride on the Busa on Sunday.... a few interesting old bikes parked up at the Wheatsheaf hotel.

Was going across town in the truck this morning 30'F out, saw a KTM adventure tour coming up to the on-coming stop sign and then "bam" he was down and rolling away from the bike...
I pulled off to help him get it up and noticed he slipped on black ice which was from the exhaust of cars sitting at the stop sign...you just never know where the ice can get you.
He didn't do any damage I could see as he had all the crash sliders on it and the bags basically held it up....it sure shook him up though.
Even the thick white stop line is as dangerous as ice if it's wet...It’s not just ice at an intersection, or a stop sign or a gas station, anywhere a car sits for awhile. Coolant, oil, diesel, condensation from the a/c and tranny fluid can cause a fall as well. My son took a dive at a red light as he hit a coolant spill when we were on tour one year. Luckily his bags prevented any damage.

Yeah, it’s the first time I’ve thought about car exhausts dripping water and turning to ice on the road RIGHT AT THE STOP SIGNS!Great point about where and how the black ice, 1 for the memory banks
You take the concrete jungle with you to the park . . . on your fuel tank and side panels lmao!Heading in to work today and couldn't pass up the opportunity to stop by a local park before I get into the concrete jungle.
