Who Rode Today?

Rode a hood bit today, supposed to be on the FLTRXS but found the boys on some sportbikes and had to go switch up rides!
Was out and about and saw 60+ (member here) getting some riding in too. Had to get home before the rain hit and didn’t get to pull over bud… next time we will tho!!
No worries buddy, good to see you, your bike sounded mean as hell with the pop when you come up beside me.

Rode 180 miles today through central Florida, some pics.

Tami’s country kitchen just before you get to the museum but on the other side of the road serves good breakfast, if you ever want some and don’t want to stop at the nearby ihop or other big name place for breakfast.
I’ll definitely give it a try because Dade City is usually where I’m getting hungry. I ate at Black Eye Pea in Dade City this morning, the food was great but it was packed and I wanted nearly an hour for my food to come out. I prefer the country style restaurants and not the big chains.

I got a good ride in Sunday morning. It was cool and overcast for 1.5 hours. Heading home I decided to diverge for a bit longer. Well of course the clouds vaporized completely and pure sun beamed down. It was only 72 or so but the sun was HOT and turned a cool breeze, sweat-free ride into a slightly drippy one.

I got home and the wife asked where I went. I had begun using "MyRide" and told her, let me just send you the map :D. Mentally tracking anything but the general direction is impossible, for one because I have a tiny brain, and two because I travel by the sun, N/S/E/W. Many times I do not know the road names. Sharing the map with people is a major standard of living improvement, let me tell you.

I recognize some of that area.....I was a passenger so it all went by quickly with my sister driving......
Cool! The train station is in Dade City, the old barn is in Trilby, the curves and hills are on Croom Rital road South of Nobleton and Istachatta road just North of Nobleton and the green boarded fence is Sleepy Hollow Fish Camp near Floral City that PerigrineKeith showed me a while back. It’s no Deals Gap but probably a hundred curves to get there. Yes I said a hundred! Please don’t quote me on that, I didn’t count them!

3 ZX4’s past by when I was taking a break and I saw them later at a hang out and all their rear tires were blistered to the edge.

Black eye pea is always packed and for good reason, because like you said, food is great. Some times I feel “adventurous” when I’m up there and just get chicken gizzards and fries at the gas station on 301 past lock street. Lol!
Look again, theirs 2 hills! Lol
NW west Florida actually has some hills and curves. Is just a bit of a ride for us to get up there around Quincy, Chipley, DeFuniak spring, Spring Hill, ETC. they even have real dirt, instead of, sand and shells like we do down here

I got out for a ride on the HOG (Heavy 'ol Gal) and all went well.....

I was entering a passing lane and some goof in a pick up truck tried to run me....needless to say it didn't go well for him as I didn't really feel like playing with him.....the adage came to my mind "drop a gear and disappear" ............and I did exactly that.......

We actually have a little corner of that part of the country and that’s where the highest point in Florida is, even though, you’ll laugh if you look it up since is only a couple of hundred feet in elevation  f
Hi. Went for a ride from Ma to RI to CT back to RI than back to Ma. We watch an auction where a Cutting horsewas bid up to $515,000.00. It is the same place where my daughter bought her 1/4 horse.
