Hi. I am replaceing the Vilcan with a little faster bike.
But no mileage pic before and after?
The riding season here is quickly coming to a close....today it will get to 70'F but only in the afternoon....right now it is 40'F out there and when I look at a short term forecast I see low temps are the norm over the next few days....
I'm a member of CAR (Candy Assed Riders) and only like to ride when it's comfortable to do so...the days of riding in adverse or cold weather is behind me....
I'm sure we'll get a good day here and there and those are the days the Bumblebee will get out for a tear.......but they will be few and far between.

Me too. 60° is my cutoff but much rather have warmer.
I gave it a try but only for 60 miles as it was 98 degrees. A friend from Wales is coming over tomorrow and it won’t be riding weather (80s) until the middle of next week.

Hi. My daughter and I are going jor a ride today. I will try tp grt some pics. She does not like to stop. An YES I know they will not be any way as good as Wuzza"s.
Wife’s step dad has one of these and has beaten it for quite sometime with no issues. About 200k miles on it without a problem. Done about 11 trips in the last month squatted down with construction debris from a fixer upper home they bought and it doesn’t miss one beat. I think you’ll be happy with your purchase.

Stopped at a fav spot overlooking a section of the Merced river inside the Park yesterday in the middle of a 160 mile ride. The water was very low, so low you could walk across it w/o getting your knees wet. Got to thinking and looked up some old pics from the same spot when the level was high. This section isn’t too deep even in springtime. Here’s some shots of the same river farther down river way outside the park at different times of the year. And of course the obligatory (traffic dependent) pic of the kissing
Sheeesh traffic. I remember it well. The last couple years I lived in San Jose my commute was ten miles. It took 30 minutes in each direction. Now it’s two lanes everywhere!
