You ever been to Yosemite? Only 300+ miles. 
Nice SV. My daughter loved hers. Same color and boy does it handle! Put on a pair of Michelin’s and we took off, up the coast, thru the giant redwoods and thru Yosemite back before I lived here. She finally sold it when her work and coaching schedule took over. I almost kept it for myself. As much as I liked riding it I felt small on it.

First day of fall yesterday and the temperatures will be dropping steadily now...
Sometimes I get a few rides in during the month of October but there have been years where it has been just too cold for me to ride..
The season for riding is drawing close now sadly...….

Sadly I feel it coming as well, as long as the snow holds out and they don't salt the roads I'll be sure ro get a few rides in but I'm already feeling that winter time can't ride depression on its way
It's the time of year when one gets up in the morning and it's still dark and starts to get dark around 1830 or so...
Leaves are turning and falling and the evening temperatures are dropping..
I do love riding this time of year though, the bike loves sucking up the cool air.

Its still hot as hell in South Florida. This week the rain has cleared up a bit so ill be doing more riding. Miss it like crazy!
I got the rear Ohlins setup and working nicely today , beautiful Spring day to get out and ride .
Too bad you have to ride such a beat up ol bike...

What’s your elevation? Snows coming near me as well so within a month or so the Sierra passes will close for the winter and I’ll be (forced) to ride the foothills like these.
I'm at 210 metres above sea level.
I drove to work (10 meters above) and no snow whatsoever.
Hey, it was only a dusting really, a southerly change came at 4pm yesterday and it rained in the evening, it was cold too. But I was really surprised to see it had snowed, we are already 1 month into spring!
Just awful to have to ride the foot hills..don't know how you can stand it...What’s your elevation? Snows coming near me as well so within a month or so the Sierra passes will close for the winter and I’ll be (forced) to ride the foothills like these.
