Yellowstones around a 500mile stretch depending on which way ya go and if you wana really enjoy the park you almost need a day there cause well gona take you a good portion of the day to ride there.

I'd really like to go on this ride but hope the weather shapes up here at home is really gona determine it if i don't see some rain here in the next few days i'll have to be haulin my but home and chopping dry corn
sad.gif
but i'm still getting a route planned just in case so if you guys head up i'll just give ya the routeing i found aight

I'm still considerig the horse back riding and rafting with you guys sunday but i really wana get into some of the demo rides so i will have to let ya guys know more closer to when you are going if i can hit a couple demo rides on saturday after our ride and the Meet and eat then i'm sure gona be up for it what time are you guys taking off for it on sunday?

A. have not heard them chime in here
B. have read about a problem with something happening in another thread
Anyone else see anyone in question?

One thing to keep in mind about Yellowstone, the speed limit in the park is 45, strickly enforced....big fines. 65 on a snowmachine got me a $150 fine....

I was just studying the calendar for next week and happended to notice that next Friday, the 19th, happens to be a full moon that night. You know what they say about the way people act when there is a full moon.....Things could get a little crazy.

Hey Zuk, I will be returning to SD on Sunday and would be up for a ride to Mt. Rushmore on Wednesday, but I have to work that day.

I get off work at 4, so depending on what time you arrive here we could still get in 4-5 hours of riding. We can talk more when we meet... 1 week to go!!

we are probally leaving 7-7:30 sunday morning, iguess its about an 1 hr drive and we are scheduled to load up on the horses around 9

i dont know about the yellowstone park, thats a trip ourt group is going to play by ear on sunday night

oh and what are u doing taking corn off in august?? oh u're a cow farmer, gotcha

Chev well normally i wouldn't have to worry about doing any sorta silage cutting until begining to Mid September but with little to no rain here for the past month, month 1/2 the corns drying up pretty fast so gotta get to it a bit sooner.

Hmmm how soon do you need to know on the horse riding and rafting? i'm really interested but ya know how it goes to many things ya wana do but to litttle time to do them in

ok, this thread is huge, so I'm just going to ask. I'm heading in from Salt Lake City, I'm thinking of staying at the resort hotel. Any one have a summary of the current plans, meet up times etc. so that I can reserve my room and plan my trip? Thanks.

Here's a list I put together from previous post giving details about the most common questions we have.

Basically everyone from this board and others has agreed to meet up for the Suzuki Cyclefest Event held at Copper Mtn. There is going to be a tent at the event along with a catered meal on Sat (?) for members making the event. Plus, VIP parking (no more worry about where to park). Also, the possibility of a bike show with the potential for a story in one of the bike mag's...... You can get free two day tickets to the event by registering with Suzuki and additional heavy discounted all access passes are already in the works (zukracer). Thanks to Scott from mile high for setting Most of the event up! You have a couple of choices for over night accomodations through the event. If the hotel is your thing and want to stay at the event the contact info is located above in the group list post. If your into the great outdoors drop BusainSD a PM I'm sure you can get all the details there. This should be an awesome experience as we have around 50 or so locals to help us chose some of the near by roads for entertainment. Plus, several folks have arranged little side trips to white water raft, hit the casino's, girlie bars, etc.....

Have you all seen the schedule for CycleFest? Heres a quick over view if you haven't:

Supermoto racing Sat/Sun 0900 to 1630
Poker run on Fri 0900
Suzuki sponsored ride to Grand Lake on Sat 0900
Motocycle Demo rides Fri/Sat/Sun 0900 - 1600
Freestyle Motocross Demo Sat/Sun 3 shows each day TBD
X-Show Trials Performance Sat/Sun 1000, 1045, and 1230
Street Stunts by Jason Britton Sat/Sun 1015, 1100 in vendor area; sat/sun 1230, 1500, 1645 at supermoto
Live Music at the Burning Stones Plaza Fri/Sat night 1700 - Sundown
As I mentioned before we are getting a 20% discount on the event tickets. I have been working with a guy named Justin Williams @ RPM and I think we have all the questions answered.

First off, if you have not signed up for the suzuki 20th anny free 2 day tickets, do it.

For those that have Suzuki Free Tickets already reserved, they are good for Sat/Sun only and ONLY FOR THE ONE WHO SIGNED UP. The fine print says you have to present proof that you own one, so unless you have two, you'll need a seperate ticket for any one not you (ie spouse, sig. other, kids, etc) That ticket does NOT cover Paddock access either, just main event stuff.

We can purchase, directly from RPM tickets for Friday, Paddock passes for whichever day and any other tickets you might need @ 20% off. Simply call Justin Williams at 303-377-3278 and tell him you are with the hayabusa owners group. He has a paypal acct set up for these ticket sales so that each person could purchase tickets.

I still have the spreadsheet with contact names, here's who I have on the list.

Anyone else, email it along to me @ zukracer@gmail.com and I'll put you on the list. Here's what we are collecting: Name, stayin@, home phone, cell phone and emergency contact info. Also include your email addy if you want this emailed to you the week before the event

Think it will be ok for "non-suzuki" friends to ride along with? Kinda a long ride to go alone...

hmm, will non suzuki's, more over non-GSXR family bikes be allowed to park in our reserved "suzuki tent" spot
rock.gif
I didnt line that up so I dont know what the rules are.... I personally wouldnt care but maybe our buddy out there in CO who set the parking up can chime in
wink.gif
Probably worth making sure, cuz I hear parking at the event nubs the wang
laugh.gif

Won't be a problem I've heard, so long as your staying at the resort! Now if your staying outside of the resort can't say! I'm bringing a couple of friends who ride other styles of bikes.......
5280, whats the verdict on this?
